Good room, great breakfast, very good value and convenient for the train station. Staff were super helpful. Our train was cancelled and they arranged for a taxi to take us up into the mountains so we could start our ski tour.

Easy access

Although Norway is a northern country, the rooms were not well heated. The hotel management tried to solve the problem with an extra electric heater that was very noisy.

Room 849 should not be allowed to give. It is straight under the the gym, and I spent the entire evening from 17.00 to 21.00 and morning from around 06.30 listening to people running on the treadmill above. The receptionist said that they usually dont give this room to people, but the hotel was not full and then I do not understand why I was given this room. A there was no compensation given even though I complained and I had to pay full price. I have been a customer several times at Scandic Ørnen, and have always been happy. This time I was really disappointed.

The location is perfect, close to all tourist attractions, and central station. The breakfast is also quite good.

Small gym, room cleaning was odd (they did the bed but didn't clean anything nor changed glasses and cups), the English translation when you turn on the TV is full of errors, like the floors in the Norge versions are different than the ones in the English ones. I mean, nobody noticed until now? Overall okay

Good sized rooms. Clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
