It was a clean room with decent styling. As affordable as a hostel when sharing a room. Great to be so near the Arrochar Alps and Loch Long. Very good tearoom, and fish and chips nearby. Tasty tap water!
There was a lack of places to hang wet towels. The shower door was missing bolts and so didn't close properly. The toilet roll holder was not secured properly to the wall and so was spinning freely. When I turned the temperature knob in the shower, it would turn off the shower pressure!

Ice view. Great location, friendly staff
It’s obviously quite old so there are age related issues. That is part of the charm for me but if you are looking for a Ramada Inn, this isn’t it

Great location with nice view of Loch. Enough free parking onsite. Friendly, helpful staff and great curries served in the restaurant. Bed linen was clean, towels were ok although a bit on the small size. Shower water was hot.
Room had several maintenance problems: broken loo roll holder, wobbly unsafe stool, carpet needed hoovering, bathroom door wouldn't close properly, Also sheet didn't fit the bed so kept moving.

Great value for money given the location. We always use this hotel as a stop off point on our long journey to the highlands.
Lovely being so close to the loch
We have stayed many times and never had issues but must have just been unlucky this time:
The staff at the reception was confusing to talk to and wasn’t very engaging giving mixed messages about breakfast availability and where to park. The rest of the staff were lovely though.
The shower in our room (111) was blocked so the basin filled up after 5 seconds of using the shower. The mattresses were also very sagged in the middle and the whole room needed a bit of a makeover (marks on walls and poorly painted over cracks/ damage on walls)
