This is a lovely old coaching In. With all the old period features. The staff were very pleasant. Lovely beer and wine served in the bar and the food was also very good. Was a great location for our dog who was also warmly welcomed.
The stairs to the rooms are not for the faint hearted, but this is an old coaching Inn and is to be expected. Anybody with mobility difficulties would really struggle with these.

The property is located in a beautiful loch side position. This lends itself to the overall charm of the Coylet Inn. The interior is spot on for those looking for a traditional Scottish experience, with open fires and stags heads on the walls. Exposed stonework and beams give you an idea of the Inn’s history. The welcome was warm and everyone involved in our stay made it a pleasant and memorable experience. The food was exceptional and breakfast options particularly special.
We did feel the staircase to the rooms may not suit someone with mobility issues.

I like the BnB vibe that the place was giving. it was just next to the lake which was beautiful, and their decor was what you would look for if you wanted the original british hosting feeling.
Honestly, I do not fare well with spiders, and there were spiders in the small corridors, in the bedroom and some I am sure we could not see. Just be mindful that you need to be nimble to go up the stairs, as they are old-fashioned and steep, also the 1st floor has low ceilings so it would not be confortable for tall people.
