Clean, modern apartment close to shops, cafes, beach and tram.

Apartment doesn’t have a balcony or any view.

Dirty ensuite’s bin with sanitary napkins were left from prior guest and bin was not emptied, shower recess was dirty where glass shower screen meets floor accumulation of mould, no screens on windows so you can’t leave any open for fresh air, aircon needs to be left on continuously

Photos were misleading as our apartment No 302 had stencils on all but one window which meant we felt a bit claustrophobic as we couldn't see daylight. We expected a balcony or view

The person meeting me to hand over the keys was late. The windows in the bedroom have a scenery sticker over the top. Probably better than overlooking the wall next door, but should be mentioned. It’s a bit weird.

the lifts were not very fresh. in fact they had a stench the entire time we were there.

The property was tidy and clean.

There was not much natural light as most do the windows were frosted or had artwork on them.

location, comfort and cleanliness were all very good.

We booked car parking and had no instructions at all on how to use the car stacker. Getting in was a mystery and with no one on site to ask, it was a waste of money. Luckily we were able to find on street parking. I also would have liked more than one dishwasher tablet left for what was a three night stay. Prior to our stay, communication with management was difficult. Emails took at least 24 hours to be responded to, questions asked within emails went unanswered and when I called the hotline (twice) I still didn’t get the answers I needed.

The actual apartment was a standout - great layout, comfortable, Hamptons styling.View from rooftop is awesome. Also appreciated the location near the beach, and easy to drive or walk around or get to public transport. The staff member upon arrival was helpful (and you didn't really need them after that). The apartment had the basic stuff to cook with, allowing you to cook without going out. Big tick with washer and dryer appliances as well.

Lack of secure parking, which is usually a deal breaker for us when selecting somewhere to stay. Our SUV was apparently too big for the parking, and we parked on the streets (we copped a fine due to misreading one of the parking signs). We had to drive around in circles to find parking most nights. There were also no stand out options for eating out. You would have to drive to find something.
