Wonderful welcome, very helpful & friendly staff. Beautiful room and ensuite. Room has view of water & sunset. Beautiful garden view breakfast room and excellent breakfast cuisine. Lots of extra thoughtful touches often missing from ‘big’ hotels. Within short distance of restaurants, golf club, beach. 10min drive to city centre; 30min drive to Aran Isle ferry.
Our itinerary prevented us staying longer

Going to leave an honest review because at £325 a night this is hugely overpriced !! 4 o’clock check in - latest time I have ever seen and 11 am check out . Breakfast times were very restrictive 8:30 to 10 - and the quality of breakfast was very poor - no vegetarian options, standard loaf bread toast- no mushrooms, pastries, cheeses etc we didn’t even stay for breakfast on our second day it was that underwhelming. No coffee machine in room. For the price we were expecting a whole lot more. We stayed multiple places during our trip to Ireland and this place was hugely overpriced for what it offered. Were also disappointed in the location - had to walk quite a way just to find a pub 😔Normally stay in hotels with all the facilities they provide but thought we would give this place a try because the reviews were good - wish we had stayed in a hotel closer to town and beach.
