Well located, clean and spacious

It’s pure gentrification. Rebuild a residential building, fill it with vacational studios at premium prices. Not a single employee, everything is done with an app

The room was comfortable

The room had a problem in the electric connections and in the fuse box. There was nobody from the staff to fix it before 10h and no equipment in the kitchen worked. It happened twice and in the second day I had to fix it by my self receiving instructions via WhatsApp. At this second day, I took 30 min to solve it, and it was the day I had to do the check out at 11h. They offered me 15 min as a check out extension, and after a discussion per WhatsApp, I could have a 30 min extension. It was not a treatment I expected from an accommodation with this standard. Really a pitty.

The shower was great. The location was convenient for our needs. The little touches such as reusable water bottles, nice complementary snacks and teas and a yoga mat were pleasant and added to the feel of the place. The room felt very warm but the air-conditioning was excellent when needed. Noise between other rooms and guests was ok for the majority of our stay, but we noted on the Saturday night that we could hear some particularly excited neighbours very clearly.

The room was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. The bed was tiny and pushed up against a wall on one side. For two, one of whom is 6 ft 4, this was pretty uncomfortable. The biggest downside for us was that room wasn't cleaned at all on our 5 night stay. This doesn't feel like something guests should have to request. As there are no reception staff on the premises, most of your communication is supposed to be done through the app they provide. Initially there appeared to be a section in the app that allowed you to request the room to be cleaned, but we couldn't find this after the first few nights. For some reason, our room had a frosted glass front door. We didn't see other rooms with this and it just felt strange for privacy.
