AMANO HOME Apartments

It was modern and spacious.

Zero communication when asked questions. Dishes didn’t fit in dishwasher. We arrived with no salt/pepper nor wine glasses. Walked to the hotel and Zoie got us setup and also gave us olive oil. Thanks to her. A table would have been nice. We made it worked. We found the laundry room but again zero communication. Lots of noise as we were at a major intersection. This was our 8th place out of ten so we have had our share of rooms. BTW, we didn’t get the code to our room until 3:15, check in is 3:00. The room service was very good.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Close to metro station but we did walk to main attractions. It was quiet and with good aircon.

The room needed a little maintenance- no front cover on dishwasher which made it hard to access

I booked apartment L (large) which was located on the corner of the building. Very spacious, will all the amentities a traveller and a professional needs.

Mattress was a bit too soft for me

This was my third time staying at Amano Home because it is a comfortable, clean and stylish place with a great location.

Amano Home no longer has staff working the reception, it's self check-in. That means you can no longer store your luggage there if you're too early before check-in time, or when you check out. This means you need to bring your luggage to another nearby hotel from the same group. Very inconvenient. Also, if you haven't checked in yet, the door is opened by ringing the bell by staff in another hotel. However, they did not open the door. I ringed multiple times, but door wasn't opened. Finally, another guest exiting opened the door for me. Again, very inconvenient. In the room, the dishwasher was missing it's front. Not what I expected from this property and it was disappointing to have something broken in the room (see attached photo). Lastly, I sent several messages on different occasions through Booking.com messaging which were left unanswered. I had to follow up by calling the property twice. Again, very inconvenient.
