Great location, easy access to the MCG, tram line, train line. Walkable distance into the CBD and Collingwood. Very much appreciate the free bottles of water and windows that open for fresh air! I've stayed here multiple times and the rooms are always big.
The place is definitely a bit rundown. Carpets are always stained and the water pressure is pretty sad. I placed a chair against the door while I was sleeping, and the chair also happened to be under the AC. I've included a photo - you can see the amount of gunk the AC spit out in just a few hours!

Easy access and friendly staff
When windy there was a lot of knocking from loose windows or something outside

Great staff and great communication through booking dot com. Immediate action when I gave feedback about the cleanliness of the room.
I have stayed a few times now as my daughter lives nearby. The rooms are never clean behind blinds and bedside tables are not moved. Skirtings also very dirty. I mentioned this and there was immediate action which I appreciated. the pillows were also terrible so I bought two from ikea which redeemed my stay. Rooms are so tired that I probably would not stay here if the location wasnt so convenient. Carpets are old and horrible. Request a deep clean on the room before you stay if that is important to you.
