Hotel Off

Super location and a stylish boutique hotel - the decor has been thoughtfully arranged and the outside space is fabulous. The breakfast was perfect - fresh, with lots of choice and service with a smile.

It’s in the centre of the bustling Old Town and earplugs are provided. I soon realised why as the place is alive with the sounds of a lively neighbourhood. This did not detract from our enjoyment- it felt fresh and authentic.

I literally loved everything about this Hotel. I wish I could keep it a secret. Located in Old Town Chania it was close to everything and had everything we needed. The people were so nice and helpful, and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious! We wanted a car rental and the people (I wish I remembered their names), Hooked us up with Dimitri and his wife. These two wonderful people were so nice and helpful. They delivered the car just outside the hotel and picked it up as well. Man, what a wonderful trip. I probably would not return to anywhere we traveled on this trip, except Crete. Both to stay at Hotel Off, for the people and the island itself. This was the highlight of the entire trip! Thanks you Hotel Off!

Lovely old Venetian building right in the heart of the old town

Great location in the old city of Chania. Ancient building that’s been updated over the centuries. Good breakfast.

No elevator. Unpardonable not to highlight this omission, since accessing the first floor of bedrooms involves two very steep flights of stairs. And the third floor is one more spiral staircase up. Not easy with luggage. Ancient electrics meant that heating did not work, so we froze at night. Also non-working TV.
