Wenceslas Hotel & Apartments

We had a great stay! The apartment (2-bedroom) was beautifully designed, very clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the spacious shower with great hot water and strong pressure, as well as the large wardrobe. Customer service via WhatsApp was super fast and efficient. A special shout-out to the staff who proactively reached out after checkout with a photo of clothing items they thought we left behind—that was extremely thoughtful! The location is excellent—very close to Wenceslas Square and the museum. Just keep in mind that the street is on an uphill slope when coming from the main boulevard.

There were a few things that could be improved. The two bedrooms were connected by a door, so to reach the bathroom from the first room, you had to pass through the second bedroom—which meant a lack of privacy. The second room felt a bit cramped with both a sofa and a dining table squeezed in, and the kitchenette in the first room is located right in front of the bed, making it impractical for actual cooking. Regarding housekeeping, you need to request cleaning 24 hours in advance. We requested it after 3 nights, but by 5:00 PM the next day, the room still hadn't been cleaned due to high demand. We gave up and just asked for fresh towels (which arrived quickly), but cleaning should ideally be done in the morning when guests are out. Lastly, our door code expired the evening before checkout, leaving us locked out until we could get in behind other guests and wait for a new code to be generated."

Cleanliness and quality of rooms was in good standard. Aircondition worked great. Love addition of flower pot. Quiet and not much noise from other rooms was good. Staff were helpful and kind. Overall good experience. Would recommend to others.

There was an Indian restaurant right next to the lobby reception. Love Indian food but the lobby smelled like curry every day. Not pleasant. Bed mattress was to stiff. Should be more comfortable. Elevator is too small/tight.

Very nice bedrooms, though colours a bit outdated, but the beds were large and comfortable. AC working fine, as it was two hot days. The lady upfront was very helpful. It is close to a walking area with lots of terraces, stores and restaurants.

There was no coffee provided, so we bought instant to have in the apt. The parking is tricky. Only one tiny spot was available when we got there, and we had an SUV, which didn't fit. Luckily the lady at the reception was very nice and gave us a staff spot until the next day, when she made sure we had a bigger spot available to move the car to. So make sure to reserve and pay for parking ahead, otherwise there may not be room and there is nothing else available in the area. Also, not sure for what reason, but inside the apt it was quite humid, and the bathroom fan didn't seem to work well, it was a weird smell inside all the time.

Non fanno le pulizie quotidiane. In tre giorni che siamo stati lì abbiamo dovuto chiedere il cambio biancheria e svuotamento cestini, ma non è stato fatto alcun intervento di pulizia. Poi scrivono molte mail in uno stile approssimativo e per niente utili al cliente.
