Roc Blanc Hotel & Spa

What a beautiful hotel and because we found a great deal only €1 more than my previous hotel, see review! The bed soooo comfortable 😎

Only one problem, the showers in the entire hotel had little hot water thus hot, hot. A shame because the shower and bathroom was great.

It’s right in the heart of the city, so perfect to get out and about.The breakfast was plentiful and ok, with many new items to me that I tried.The breakfast staff simply could not have been better and more helpful.The cleaning staff likewise.We walked into an immaculate room, so thank you to them all.The bathroom was huge with a great tub and a nice touch was the nice bathrobes

When we arrived we joined a long queue at reception and it took 20 minutes to get seen.There was one guy on his own and he was doing his best, but at times you just get swamped and he could have done with some help until the queue had died down. My other problem was with the ladies in the spa.Now my wife wanted to have a manicure.Its advertised in all the lifts and we were told by reception to go to the spa to arrange an appointment.So, we arrived at the spa……two ladies on duty, and the conversation went “ do you want to do it?” “ no, not really, do you?”…” no, shall we say we are busy?”, “yeah”………”sorry, we are fully booked sir”.So off we went….not impressed, and they need to be taught what customer service is.

public parking overcrowded.

The comfort and quality of the room was really high. I cannot fault this part of the stay at all. The Beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean and well presented and the aircon quiet.

The check in process was confusing with regards to parking. the street into the hotel is narrow and one way and parking int he main hotel car park was unavailable due to the car being a little too long. After realising we could park just around the corner, it was somewhat sorted, but after a 4 hours drive, this certainly could have been easier. My biggest gripe is the charge to use the hotel pool. It's listed as a Spa Hotel but there was a 20 something euro charge, per person, to use the pool for 1 hour. I can't think i've ever stayed at a hotel with facilities that aren't included within the cost of the hotel and frankly, this is quite disappointing.
