Arte Luise - Self-Check In

The room was very spacious and the bed was confortable. The location was somewhat central and we could reach teh train station easily. AC was workign fine and windows were big but it was possible to close them completelly.

As many reported the place is right next to a railroad, which was somewhat no too disturbing as many other reviewers have shared. The lack of staff was not noticed as we did not need anything specific above what we got, but we do unterstand that if we would have needed some support, we would have been out of luck. The big drawing on the wall of the room was alright ... even if plain color would have been better.

They let us keep our luggage early. Area was clean and comfortable.

Train track nearby and disturbs a little

There is no elevator and you need to carry your luggage up to the 3rd floor if you stay there, but it’s doable. My room was heading the railway station and there was a lot of noise when the train is passing by. But if you have a deep sleep like me, this should not be a problem. It was even funny and part of the location charm. And also the floor is kind of noisy, but again it’s kind of part of the charm. I tried to extend my room with one more night so I could not do it from the app so talking to an AI agent on whatsapp didn’t work out so I had to book another place. It’s a pitty they lost a client. Unfortunately you cannot leave your luggages there if you arrive earlier or you depart later but there is plenty of lockers, one right in the train station.

The room appeared to be clean and had all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was reasonable.

The Wi‑Fi signal was a bit weak. The building seems quite old, with wooden floors that are noticeably noisy. The stairs are steep and uneven, which may be inconvenient for some guests. The hotel is very close to a bridge with a railway line, and trains pass throughout the night, causing significant noise.
