Location was extremely convenient for accessing all that the Old Quarter had to offer. We walked everywhere! There is live music/singing at the end of the street during Night Markets (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) that you can hear from the room, but it finished around 10pm.

There is nothing we didn't like. Note that there are no ironing boards and irons in the rooms, so you need to get this service provided if you need ironed clothes, otherwise, just bring your ready to wear clothes instead. Also, car/bus pickups cannot get to the hotel during Night Markets, so you need to walk from/to a rendezvous point and the bellman helps you bring your luggage.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was lovely, and we had no complaints. We just paid half the amount in a different hotel around the corner, and this wasn't twice as good. So, it is not their fault, but you can't help but weigh things up when travelling.

They said we had been upgraded to a room with a window. There is a physical window that opens to another physical window that opens to reveal concrete!?!?!?! Utterly pointless. We had a kettle but no white coffee sachets. This was the only place we didn't get them on our Vietnam trip, and it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in.

First impressions was to be impressed with the grandeur of the hotel. Very professional, courteous and efficient Received an upgrade to the room, complete with balcony. It was beautiful Location is right in the centre of things, and it provides the perfect base for the visit to the wonderful Hanoi Breakfast is excellent, providing so much choice, with superb quality. They even had little banh mi’s, which was a wonderful touch I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. During my stay in Vietnam I had 3 different hotels in Hanoi. This was the pick of the 3 I didn’t get the opportunity to use the swimming pool, but it looked wonderful too

Small unheated outdoor pool, but not really weather for it anyway. Bar is either the roof terrace (no good in the wet) or the dining room, so no real feeling of a bar.

Excellent customer service and great location.

The bathroom and shower area needed a little “attention”, a little moldy areas in shower and the tile floor could use some caulking. Not acceptable in a suit.

Service outstanding. Bed very comfortable. Lovely room. Dining room, rooftop terrace, and lobby are beautiful. Check-in process and billing very efficient, professional, and courteous.

Exterior noise - soundproofing needed. Could have more creative cocktails on the menu that feature local herbs and flavors which would have made our rooftop dining even more memorable.

Fantastic location. Right next to beer street, the lake and near plenty of shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was decent but smaller than others we had on the trip. We stayed on 3 different occasions over our entire trip. 2 or 3 of our rooms had a window that faced another building so that was a little disappointing. The first room with the view was our favourite!

Mme Snow at the reception and Mr. Chester at the restaurant were both very guest oriented and particularly helpful - thanks so much! The breakfast is a highlight, a wonderful choice of dishes, beautifully presented!

Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff! My room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is amazing - a huge choice of local and international dishes and a beautiful view from the roof top. Big thanks to Snow at the reception and Chester at the restaurant. Everybody was super kind.

The location is in the heart of the Old Quarter. The managers Don and Chester checked on the comfort of all the guests every morning. Gives a personal touch. They are polite and very professional.

In room wifi can be uneven at times so we made calls to the reception who were prompt to resolve the issues whenever access to the wifi was cut off.

Great location and staff were helpful and attentive. Room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay

Hotel was in a great location. Good transfer arranged in advance with hotel. Staff all great including Don, Hana and Chester. Good rooms both with good views of Hanoi. Close to Bia Street. Good pool on roof and great views of city. Good and drink selection also good and happy hour was good. Food at breakfast was good with good selection of local cuisine and western foods like omelette and eggs and bacon. Gym was adequate for a hotel and used the spa which was £100 for a couple 3 hour package with massage, facial, hot stones. Highly recommended.

Grote en luxe kamer met een kingsize 2-persoonsbed. Kamer had ook een balkon zodat je mooi bovenop de hectiek van de straten van Hanoi kon kijken. Kamer was goed geïsoleerd dus geen straat herrie in de nacht. Prachtige rooftop bar voor een drankje met uitzicht over Hanoi. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt uitstekend.

Very friendly staff. The views from the restaurant and roof top bar are amazing as its one of the tallest buildings in the area, can see all of Hanoi. Beds were also extremely comfy.

Very few seats for around the pool but hotel staff didn’t seem to mind when we just removed the cushions and sat in the bar area.

- absolut zentrale Lage (Nähe zu Beer Street und inmitten des Old Quarters) - wundervolle Dachterrasse mit guten Drinks und angenehmer Stimmung in der sonst so lauten und engen Umgebung des Old Quarters - freundliches Personal sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant und an der Rooftop-Bar - das gesamte Hotel wirkte sauber und gepflegt - absolute Empfehlung für Städtereisende

- das Frühstück war nicht wirklich abwechslungsreich und für den Preis auch relativ klein, zumindest für die 4 Nächte in unserem Fall - die Zimmer sind trotz Sauberkeit doch in die Jahre gekommen

Good check-in. Staff helpful. Location is right in the action of the Old Quarter, which is great fun for couple of days (maybe stay outside of the OQ for a bit too, as there is a lot more to Hanoi). Room was decent. Breakfast buffet was acceptable. The skyline restaurant has fantastic views by night. The restaurant food is so-so considering the premium price tag. Pool is small but good for a dip after a long day. Allowed us to store luggage, which was kind.

I haven't got anything negative to say. It was a good experience at a reasonable price point.
