It was really centrally located, and everyone was so nice!

Very poor river view - flat roof took away over half the view from the rear.
No shower gel, no bathmat no dressing gown no complimentary water I the room - but the at £325 a night you expect them - especially when they are advised as standard.
Also, this is the second time I’ve stayed here ( not out of choice ) and on both occasions it’s taken over half an hour to check in and get on the room even tho reception was quiet.

Located with a 5 min walk to the city centre and access to numerous bars and restaurants as well as the hotel offerings. The shops and museums and colleges also on hand to visit and enjoy. Sunday lunch was great at the Garden House Restaurant within the hotel. The room had a balcony with which we could sit and overlook the river.

Location was perfect! Situated in the river and only 5 minute walk into the centre. The style of the hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful and all the facilities were clean. Really enjoyed the spa and the bar too! Parking was extra but very straightforward to organise.
There was nothing we didn’t like - would definitely recommend and stay here again

4th visit to the Graduate and honestly we would not stay anywhere else now in Cambridge; it really is a fantastic hotel that exceeds our expectations every time. I wish all hotels could be like the Graduate!

Good location and pleasant environment.
Uneven experience with staff; most were helpful and solicitous but had a very unsatisfactory and surprising exchange with one very officious and confrontational staff member which soured the visit. Bar rather expensive and food quality variable. Won’t be coming back.

Very good hotel bar, spa and location of the hotel.
Breakfast charges are £18pp at the restaurant but they don’t tell you that they are £15pp if you book in at reception. Lack of information about the restaurant/breakfast availability. Rooms a bit tired, have stayed here previously when they were better.

Hidden charges! Whether this is the fault of the hotel or booking.com, there were extra charges for parking, breakfast and then restaurant charge!

Nice location
Room smelt a bit damp. No hot water in the morning. Front desk staff seemed relatively unfussed about this happening and marginally apologetically offered to take my breakfast off my bill.

The Graduate Hotel is extremely well located, minutes walk from the old colleges in the center of Cambridge and positioned right on the river.
I found the staff to be very attentive and helpful.
The room was well appointed and comfortable.
The hotel generally had an informal and fun feel to it.
I did not eat dinner here, but the breakfast was really good.

We have stayed at the Cambridge on many occasions now. Once again we had a very nice time. The rooms are excellent and the staff are very welcoming and if efficient.

The decoration is brilliant and special. The location is great and the view from the room is pretty nice.
The housekeeping could be better as this is a 4-star rated hotel. There is no TV remote controller and the body wash bottle is completely empty. The hair dryer was put in a corner on the upper deck of the closet which is hard for short people to reach it.

We have always enjoyed the Graduate hotel Cambridge for its great location, stylish decor.
Christmas spirit was sparse this year. While there were a few trees and a splash of decorations around the hotel, the homely festive feel, we’d experienced on previous stays, was lacking this year.
The exceptional customer service we have enjoyed on our previous stays had also dropped although still adequate service overall.

heating issue with original room, staff immediately upgraded us to a better room, thought was well designed, lobby was very quirky and the bar was great! close to town/river - we really enjoyed our stay.

No spaces to sit at breakfast despite the booking the day before
Reception helped with issues we had the way they could, but not having different pillows and and a noisy fridge in a superior room in a 4* hotel is not ideal.

Familiar and good quality. Dog was made welcome. Had his own bed, and bowl. Charge was 35 Gbp per night, for dog, he wasn’t offered any food, he caused no extra work, yet a 3 night stay cost us 105 Gbp.

Great setting and location. Decent size room and bed.
Swimming pool was cold, nearly as cold as the shower in the room which never got hot. Room ‘upgrade’ to river view was a complete waste as stuck in a corner with a tree blocking the view anyway. Balcony is a farce - was about 1m and no furniture to actually use as a balcony.

Not clean, very dusty, shower cubicle gets clogged always, stained toilet and shockingly overpriced for the quality of the room
