Perfect little house ! Everything you could want there and the location couldn’t have been any better ! It’s very cosy; everything was spotless and the beds and pillows were excellent, they were so comfortable, really first class. Bedrooms were lovely size and felt very cosy..
The only thing that was a pain was the downstairs loo ( no upstairs facilities
due to lack of space) and the staircase being at a disconcerting angle depending if going up or coming down it either felt it was leaning backwards or forwards….. and the fact of having to go down them to use the loo at night. From one bedroom to the other one there is a triangle of a stair and you can feel a bit vulnerable going from one to the other, I don’t know in fairness what the owners could do to address that.

Perfect location for easy walk to city centre. Very quiet for a terraced street. Well equipped, appreciated the 2 fans as we stayed during a heatwave.
Clean and welcoming, comfortable beds and sofa.
Some tricky half steps directly from bedrooms, not good for anyone unsteady on their legs.

A cosy cottage with tasteful décor in a traditional setting. Comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The car park by the city walls is easily accessible.
The cleaning methods need to be improved. It was clean, but a bit musty and the dining table was sticky. The cleaning supplies provided were not sufficient to resolve the issue. The host, or the agency representing him, has not responded to that complaint.
The stairs are steep and may not be suitable for elder people.
