We had a group of women stay at John’s place during the off season in February and we enjoyed our time very much. The kitchen was fully stocked. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. And the lake view was breath taking. Thank you for the nice getaway!

This house is perfect for your next girls trip! There are so many bathrooms/bedrooms so everyone can be comfortable. Felt super safe and was easy to get Sunset Taxi services. The views were STUNNING. You're right on the water! The host was super friendly and helpful and we'd definitely go back.

It was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. The kareoke machine was fantastic - the view in the mornings with coffee was wonderful and it was close to the parks and Geneva! Perfect!

Been coming to GOTL for the last 4 years. This place was by far the nicest we have stayed. Clean property, great amenities, outdoor set up is great, ample parking and an owner who was responsive and gave great recommendations!

Owner very responsive and easy to deal with. Only hesitation to renting place again would be the pathway to get to water is pretty steep with loose gravel and would be difficult for elderly. Overall wonderful place.

We had the best house on the street overlooking lake Erie. Fire pit was nice with lots of would.the kitchen was big and had anything you could...were making this a yearly event.

GOTL was so nice and this house sits right on the lake. We really enjoyed star gazing at night. Enough space for a group and kitchen is well stocked.

This house is beautifully furnished & decorated, with breathtaking views from the kitchen, porch, & walk down to the shore. The property owner is very helpful, friendly, & responsive. The beds are comfortable. There is a huge fridge & freezer, & an awesome gas cook stove & several high quality grills outside that our husbands loved. There are lots of huge pots & pans, & other appliances. The kitchen is the one place that had some challenges. It has an odd sink that appears to have come from a restaurant kitchen. It's very deep & narrow & difficult to get into. The dishwasher is very tiny, & didn't work while we were there, so we washed all of our dishes by hand. While there were many large pots & pans there were other standard things that were missing (we do a lot of cooking & baking at our family reunions). The other concern is the path down to the lake. It's very steep & rutted with rain run-off, which made walking down & up for the elder generation more difficult. Overall, we would definitely rent this house again! I know they've put a lot of time & effort into it & I imagine things will continue to improve with time.

This was a great house for a long weekend, with six adults, (3 couples). The location is between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake. It is about 15-20 minutes to beautiful wineries. The house is right on the water. We used to be three upstairs bedrooms. They were very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms for each room very nice.
In the kitchen we really enjoyed the very large, commercial freezer and refrigerator. These were very helpful for cooking large group meals. There were two coffee makers one is a Nespresso that makes lattes.
Be aware, the walk to the water is very steep but we made it multiple times each day.

This is a beautiful, modern home with many conveniences. The three upstairs bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom. An additional bedroom and bunk-bed room downstairs share a bathroom. The house is decorated in a way that is quirky and fun. The kitchen is extremely well supplied with pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, and appliances, as well as a huge fridge and freezer. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the lake breezes and beautiful sunsets. The owner is very responsive and really cares about his guests. The surrounding area has wineries, kayaking, biking, mini golf, and "the strip" at Geneva-on-the-Lake - something for everyone.

Appliance issues. Stove and freezer not functioning properly. Breakers tripped several times. Seating was unable to accommodate family meals. Much clutter in kitchen making food prep difficult.
Basement rooms damp and humid. Dehumidifier was not set up for continuous operation. Water intrusion during stay.
Downstair Bathroom was not conducive for guest use.
Break wall construction work with excavator continued throughout stay.
View was great and directly on Lake Erie. Close to Geneva. Many outdoor games provided.

The house slept everyone perfectly. With more bathrooms then you know what to do with. The house sits above the lake so you get great views. The concrete pad by the lake is also nice. They have beach chairs down there so you can sit by the lake for hours. It makes you feel like you’re on the ocean. Great place. Great Owner

We had my daughter's bachelorette party at this property. A beautiful home on the lake with a lovely porch with a view of the lake. Plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms. A very pretty great room with attached kitchen with industrial fridge/freezer combo. Great for a group! Went to the GOTL strip Fri night and a wine tour the next day. Nice outdoor space for a firepit and cornhole and late night karaoke in the basement! There were more than enough towels for a group of women and the kitchen had just about anything you could need to prepare a great meal. John was a great host. We do hope to come back again!

This was a great place to stay. Large enough for the whole extended family. Lots of amenities included incase you forget anything. Commercial grade kitchen with any appliance you can think of. Great communication with host. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate NYE and it was an incredible time. We had a two more couples on the second night than the first and we found the space perfect for all our needs. The kitchen is incredibly stocked, I was able to cook for 10-12 with ease.
The host is communicative and I could sense his passion regarding the property. We were happy to enjoy the space ourselves for the weekend.
Parking was our only concern and we were able to fit everyone without issue.
I highly recommend this lake house to anyone who may ask!

This house and the owner were absolutely fantastic. We stayed with 13 adults, no problem with plenty of space. The owner responded to all questions quickly and everything you needed was already there. My family is already wanting to book another trip at this property.

Our group consisted of 6 ladies that had a wonderful time. We used Sunset Transportation for a beautiful tour of a few wineries and enjoyed the view inside and outside of the house. The house was very pretty and set up well for large groups.

We stayed here for my bachelorette party, and the set up of the house could not have been more perfect. Plenty of space to sleep, common areas were large enough to hold our group of 13 girls, and the location was top notch with the lakefront view! Also, the house was stocked with pretty much EVERYTHING you would need including commercial grade kitchen appliances. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here for my bachelorette. The house was beautiful along with a stunning view! Plenty of rooms and beds/bathrooms. The location isn’t too far from the strip which was nice! If you’re considering staying here, do it! You won’t regret it!

I rented the home for my sister and I for the relaxing atmosphere. My brother and his wife along with my daughter joined us. It is a great home to sit out and enjoy the lake with family and friends. The kitchen is a great place to gather for cooking and sharing great stories. The home is beautiful and a great place to enjoy family and friends. In addition the home is close to everything just a very short drive. The owners are very easy to work with and answer any questions in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this home!

Terrific view
All of our expectations were exceeded by this wonderful beach house on Lake Erie. The whole family had a great time visting the surrounding area's attractions. The kitchen is large and well equipped. Bring eyeshades if you're a late riser. Lots of windows.

Beautiful and relaxing property
The property is amazing! Sean is an amazing host, he told us where we could go in town. I asked him so many questions and he was quick to answer me back! His place is amazing, beautiful, and clean. We enjoyed going down to the lake and the view was amazing! Our trip was on the Fourth of July and we got to see so many fireworks! The lake is so clean and clear from his property. My daughter was upset we had to leave, she wanted to stay forever.
