It’s cheap and does the job. Can’t complain. Clean, comfortable.
I’ve been at more expensive places that weren’t as good.

Second time staying here. Good price and very comfortable bed. Shame that others have clearly treated the property poorly as the host now needs a security deposit on arrival. Not an issue but just a shame that it is needed. The same with the breakfast. Last time it was included but is appears that people have been taking advantage and ruining it for others.
Only there for one night but it was perfect for what I wanted.
Nothing to report.

Lovey old building and rooms clean and bright, location ideal for beamish museum and Durham, 10min drive, Uer cost £10.50 isg
Complicated shower instructions but once figured out a nice shower facility.
Not really a dislike but please read small print as a small refundable deposit is required on arrival due to some bad guest experiences.

Clean room. Handy for parkrun
I asked to check out at 10.30 instead of 10am. The owner said it would cost £20 for a late check-out. I thought this was expensive. No free channels on the TV. I was surprised we couldn't even get Bbc1. Took awhile to get the £50 damage deposit back. I had to chase this up.
