Comfortably appointed country hotel with an informal restaurant. Nice reception & bar area. Good sized car park. Very good breakfast..

The dinner was the least satisfactory we’ve ever had there & the menus aren’t as interesting as before (& we’ve been coming here for years). We chose a disabled room but there were no shelves in the bathroom, which was large

i loved the location, loved the look and style of the place.

The walls are so thin. i never had a good nights sleep sadly. Due to people walking around outside or sitting outside, and hearing the rooms to the left and the right of me, and above us. could hear talking, walking and moving furniture. The hotel needs 100% better sound proofing of rooms, i had the suite with the lake view. You assume it’s a lake and not a stream, had people outside the bedroom taking pictures with the stream lol so didn’t feel private with the curtains open. There was dogs everywhere lol i wanted to sit by the open fire at night and a couple kept letting their dog bark at anyone all night. Dog friendly hotel is certainly is, abit to many dogs for myself. The room looked clean at a glance but after dropping my earring and moving the bed, found mess! needs a good clean.
