We liked the location close to family. We also liked the room, it was amazing. We liked the food, including breakfast.
This isnt a bad thing, but we are early risers, so breakfast starting at 9am, was a bit of the down side, but Im sure other guests loved the fact it started at 9am.

We just needed a one night location and this hotel was exactly what we required.
Clean and tidy and because it is also a pub and restaurant there is no issue with entertainment of dining.
Very pet friendly and the staff were very helpful really liked this location as a quick one or two night stay but would also cover a longer stay for those wishing to trek out into the surrounding area.
If you ask for car parking this is at the front of the hotel and is off a main junction, be careful as reversing out can be difficult but not impossible.

Friendly staff, lovely comfortable room with the biggest bathroom I’ve seen, enjoyed the roll top bath & the view! Breakfast was good. We also ate there one evening with 10% off as a guest & the food was amazing & such good value.
My only advice would be to create a dressing table area with a mirror as I was unable to see to dry/straighten my hair & sit down to do my make up. The walk down was easy but beware of the walk back up if you’re not able. We were fine though.

Pizza & happy hour on Sunday was good!
Below average experience! All tables were very sticky and felt like they really needed a good clean! Breakfast was poor!
