Great location and really family friendly. Great staff at the bars and restaurants.

Housekeeping is extremely poor. Getting something like a bottle of water to the room takes around 4 hours with multiple followups even after making the request on the app and on phone. Front office staff is hit and miss. Nathaniel and Diamond were great. Couldn’t get a cake for my wife’s birthday even after assurance from the customer service desk at TAINO. Go for dinner at around 7pm if you want seats at any of the specialty restaurants

I like the size of the room, the food in the buffet, some of the staff is very friendly and nice.

The room, the buffet and the sport bar has some smell to humidity. The shower is not too clean, the do housekeeping every day but not a good and detailed clean, specially in the bathrooms

The property is aesthetically pleasing. The landscaping is well maintained, the resort is clean, and the overall design gives it an upscale, relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

The property is visually appealing; however, several shortcomings detract from the overall experience. I stayed for seven days and purchased the elite package, but the level of service did not meet expectations associated with that tier. Housekeeping was particularly unsatisfactory, as it took four days for the room to be adequately serviced. The bed was not properly made, coffee supplies were not replenished, bath robes were not restocked, and towels appeared to have been arranged hastily. There were also notable issues with the amenities. Although the television advertises connectivity to applications such as Netflix, staff were unable to resolve functionality issues. The gym equipment is outdated and would benefit from modernization, and the spa is located across the road at another Riu property, which is inconvenient. Additionally, the entertainment offerings lacked authentic cultural elements and felt generic, failing to provide a meaningful sense of the local culture.
