Wind down in this spacious and serene early settler homestead nestled in the beautiful Rangitumau Valley just off State Highway 2: under 2 hrs from Wellington and 40 min to Martinborough. Situated within easy reach of the National Wildlife Centre at Mount Bruce with good trout fishing in the nearby Ruamahanga River. Visit the North Wairarapa wineries and venture to the unique beaches at Castle Point and Riversdale. Enjoy the amazing night skies and the scenic walks through the countryside. Continental breakfast included with options of cooked breakfast 2/3 course Prix Fixe evening meal.

Craig has a lovely place with spacious ground, comfy bed, excellent taste in furniture and decorations. Craig is also very friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do in Masterton. The complimentary breakfast got a variety of choices for all of us to choose from and it’s so tasty with great quality food!My 2 year old and 4 year old sons enjoyed playing with the two dogs and all the things to do with country lifestyle living! We were just trying to find somewhere to stay for one night for a short getaway but what we experienced was way exceedingly our expectations!Thank you Craig! Will surely want to come again in the future!

From the moment you arrive Te Rangi Lodge just has a lovely feel to it. The house is beautiful, tidy and clean and well-appointed. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Highly recommended, especially if you want to be out of town but only a short trip to get back. Thanks Craig and Dawn for a wonderful stay!
