Ohtel Wellington

The staff at Ohtel Wellington were exceptional! They were all lovely people and all went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. Being small and boutique the Hotel had a lovely friendly vibe but the service and amenities were top class. We will definitely be back!

That we only stayed 2 nights!!

The room was large, well appointed, with a comfortable bed, everything needed in terms of toiletries, clothes space, desk, illumination. And the bathroom was pure delight: enormous, with a fabulous bathtub complete with everything needed for a great bath, including little yellow ducks! Everyone at the reception was polite and helpful, including with restaurant reservations. We forgot an item of clothing in the wardrobe and they sent it to our next hotel. A truly fantastic hotel, very well located in Wellington. I would love to stay there again.

Perhaps the only thing that was not great here is the fact that there is no reception at night. Unless I am mistaken, there is no one around from 19:00 to 7:30. That makes it a bit complicated if there is some problem; but they do offer a local number to call if needed.

Huge delicious breakfast included with the room. Staff was very attentive, helpful, gave great advice about the surrounding area as well as NZ. We had one of the suites which was very spacious with an awesome bath tub. Cool mod furnishings.

Hotel is located on a busy street, can be challenging for getting luggage in/out of the car. There’s a 10 min loading zone out front which works but isn’t the easiest to get to if you come in on the wrong side of the road. The street can be noisy at night. We were woken up at 3am by a truck doing service on the street. On the weekend some cars were cruising with load music. Bed aggravated my back pain

Great location. Helpful staff. Loved the bath.

Limited facilities. For the price and "boutique" would have expected more in the way of style and atmosphere
