James Bay Inn Hotel, Suites & Cottage

The location was perfect, easy walk to the waterfront and Beacon Hill park. The room was quiet, did not hear the other guests in the house.

The floor were very dirty in the apartment, we wanted to take our shoes off, but couldn't because it made our socks too dirty. We stayed 2 nights, there were only 1 serving of coffee, no milk/cream or sugar. I know there is coffee in the foyer in the mornings, but it would have been nice to have some for the afternoon and in the morning, so we didn't have to walk outside to get coffee. I also knew that we will have to use the sleeper couch, but still don't get it, why does hotels charge you for 4 people, says it sleeps 4 adults, but has the most uncomfortable sleeper couches, with such thin mattresses.

Well placed hotel a short walk from the harbour.

It’s a bit dated and needs new carpets. Worst of all there is no lift. It’s a steep climb with your bags just to get to reception. When we arrived, no-one offered help with our luggage.
