Hotel Bonaparte

The sones were fine if you like scones for breakfast. Restaurant setting with table and chairs (seating in the room was not comfortable for eating) and other food options would have been better with coffee not having to be in paper cups.

For the room price the food provided for breakfast seemed inadequate. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30 am which seemed early to wake guests! The room was on the end so the “ garden view” we requested was mostly air handlers and other guests’ windows- we had expected a direct not side view ( we have had a direct view when staying there in the past and it was lovely).

Perfect location. Very near Notre Dame. The hotel restaurant is fabulous. So glad we knew about it and made a reservation ahead of time.

Beautiful clean property in Old Town. Close to Bascillica Norte Dame , shops, restaurants, waterfront. Also has a very nice and delicious restaurant.

The Hotel is not what it was Pre---Covid, the room and night restaurant/bar are very acceptable and appreciated. However....see below what we didn't like and is a deal breaker.

The Hotel is not what it was Pre---Covid, where the absence of a restaurant breakfast removes the charm and comfort that the Hotel previously was so well known for and appreciated. The box breakfast is not even a meager replacement for the restaurant. In fact eating from a box in ones room is rather depressing. The model is a fail and considering the cost of the room its time to take a pass in the future. The suggestion that there are local restaurants that make breakfast just an excuse. You have to walk considerable distance for a proper breakfast. NO apologies, or sorry you feel that way. It just a fact. Also Bonaparte has a partner hotel that does provide full kitchen service, so we heard the excuses and ignored the sad tails.
