A really friendly welcome……a real buzz in the bar…..and, totally unexpected, a carvery! On a Thursday evening!
Not our normal thing but what a great success.
All in all, friendly, very good food, extraordinary value and an amazing pub. To get it so right these days is a real achievement.
Could do with a bit of tidying in the gardens and paths…….

Luxury double room with great views out of double doors, private outside area.
Not a lot of storage space. could have done with a shelf/chair in the bathroom to put your clothes on while having a shower.

Balcony area was lovely, appreciated the accessibility features. Great for such a last minute booking, staff were very accommodating and friendly re dietary issues
Double bed mattress was a bit firm and the folding sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable

Room clean. Good extras like bottled water, biscuits. Food in pub was lovely. Staff very attentive and friendly.
Noise from function room was loud and thumping till late. Had to put tv on in room to drown it out and then earplugs to sleep. Had to rummage in cupboards in hall to find hairdryers. No wifi.
