This property is a train wreck. So many mounting issues with this property:
Forced to check in late due to cleaning crew still being in the house when we arrived.
HVAC unit does not work.
Screens on windows missing or torn making it impossible to open the windows to cool the house. No AC forced us to open the windows that we could. The stanch from the trash cans outside made it unbearable to stay in the house.
Bug infestation (fly’s, other flying insects, ants and spiders).
Dishwasher broken.
Electrical outlets in the kitchen do not work.
Light above the cooktop does not work.
Very limited pots and pans to cook with.
Place setting utensils for 8 people when the house is supposed to accommodate 12.
Refrigerator doesn’t work properly.
The keyless entry door lock does not work properly.
Ceiling fan in the master bedroom does not work properly.
Faucet in master bathroom does not work correctly.
TV in the living room does not work.
Couch in living room is so discussing and dirty that nobody wants to sit on it.
Smoke detectors were going off all night. Had to replace the batteries myself.
Hot tub was not clean.
Outdoor furniture rusted out and unusable.
BBQ grill does not work properly.
Gas Fire pit does not work correctly.
I paid over $8,000 USD for this disaster! The overall description of this property is grossly misleading on VRBO. I am so disappointed in this property that I am requesting a refund for my stay.

Great location: Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, rental shops, markets, and Belmont Park nearby. Steps from sand. Beautiful views from decks.
Great layout: main floor great room, second floor master and game room, third floor filled with bunk beds. Four bathrooms! Rooftop deck with hot tub, fire pit, and grill.
Issues: Had to hunt for towels; they were hidden in strange places all over the house. Kitchen smelled terribly of mildew coming from sink, and garbage disposal was broken. The stairs are steep and covered with slick tile, so beware of that because there are a lot of them! Rooftop gas fire pit wouldn’t stay on. Grill was very shabby; I would not have used it. Outdoor furniture was in pretty bad shape; peeling paint, rusted, splintery, etc.
Communication: Property management didn’t call me back during our stay when I left messages about the fire pit not working. That was one of the huge factors in choosing this property to rent, so we were quite disappointed—in both the situation and lack of customer service.
Overall, it’s a great location, a good sleeping layout for a group with kids, and has adequate amenities. However, some improvements could stand to be made for the amount of money they are charging for this place.

The home was as expected and the location was great. Parking is very, very tough. We brought a Toyota Highlander and it barely fit in the garage. The second parking space is not meant for any decent sized car. A fiat could fit there. We don’t recommend the owner list that space as a “parking space.” Cleaning instructions are extremely extensive considering the cleaning fee we paid. Lastly, check out is at 10am and all the door codes were changed at 7:50am. We rated this poor due to the codes being changed so early.

The location was great and the stay was comfortable. The only drawbacks were the ants and the parking. There were a TON of little ants everywhere, not just in the kitchen. If ants are that big of an issue cleaning supplies should be provided and paper towels. They supply you with 1 roll for your entire stay. Since even 1 chip on the floor will yield 100 ants in the span of 20 minutes that is an issue. My legs were sore for a week from climbing a million stairs but the property was super close to the ocean. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at this house. The space was great for us. It was my self and 6 teen young men:14 to 18. Fall break and my sons got to bring friends! There was plenty of space where we could eat together and then have our own spaces. The rooftop was great with the hot tub, views and fire pit.
One thing I would suggest is adding new cookware: given that the house can hold 14 people, the kitchen ware/cookware was limited. Also a great plus would be nice glass ware especially wine glasses rather than plastic. Otherwise, the space was great and we’ll definitely consider returning.

Very pleased with the location of this property and that it came with a garage. Master bedroom was missing fan control and the headboard was flimsy and looked like it was made of popsicle sticks. The big bummer with this location was there was an ant infestation. They were in the trash bags and refrigerator when we entered the property. I think the trash company missed a week because all the bins were full before we had a chance to throw our trash. Best part was the roof access to watch the sunset. We’d stay here again if the ants got cleaned up.

This property absolutely exceeded our expectations! The outstanding views, terrace, rooftop hot tub, communicative and friendly host, easy check in and check out process, and gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms made this stay unforgettable. It was the most special place to come with friends and family! We would recommend this property to anyone visiting San Diego! 10/10!

Great house for a family!

And, rental company does not have basic condiments and things in kitchen to use so either bring your own or plan to buy them after you arrive. There were a few things broken when we arrived, and the rooms were sandy. I called the number texted to me for after hours and left a voice mail stating some of the damages along with my name. I never received a call back, but overall the house was nice and everything that we used worked. Needs a few touch ups but what rents place doesn’t, we had a great time and will be back! Thank you.
