Overall, great and central location. Bedroom sizes were nice. Seemed pretty clean.
Little things bugged me though. Would it hurt to have more than 2 towels per person? Stand out and go above and beyond the minimum. Also Kleenex box would be nice. Foil? Kitchen was fine otherwise. Hate the rubber mat in the bathroom. Found a shred of glass on the bedroom floor. The living room couch was definitely cheap. Kept slipping when we sat down and we’re not fat or big people. Felt like I was always adjusting furniture. No support on the couch cushions.

This place was perfect for a party of 10+. It is a duplex that shares a backyard with the adjoining duplex so if you don't rent them both out it may be weird to have strangers living so close. All in all it was a great location close to everything in a very nice neighborhood. Would recommend.

Great location for 4 Aussie families to be based for a wedding
Having 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was ideal for the 10 of us. The backyard was ideal for BBQs and socialising. The proximity to Down Town and Barton Springs was also a huge plus. Highly recommend this property and HomeAway and we will be using the on our next trip. Thanks from the Land Downunder.

Its located in a nice neighborhood that is easy to get out on Lamar and downtown or down to 71. We enjoyed the stay. Ran short on hot water for one unit and the pillows are weak but we brought our own so it wasn't an issue.

Awesome Stay!
Place was great, exactly what we needed! Close to downtown (about a 10 minute Uber) and had all the dishes and cleaning supplies etc. Also the beds are super comfortable!

Great space! Super close to all the fun in Austin! Kevin was easy to get in touch with and answered all 10,000 of my questions before our stay!

Close to downtown, perfect for a large group
This property was perfect for our guests! We had both units and they were clean, nice decor and overall a wonderful stay. We got in communication with property management regarding a box spring that needed fixed and they came and brought a new one less than 24 hours later. We will definitely be back! Great location and nice quiet neighborhood.

Close to downtown, got the job done.
The online listing was a bit misleading because a the time of booking I was not aware that there were (2) units that were next to each other. I only found this out about a week before our scheduled stay. Upon arrival I did find a VERY large roach in the bathtub that was still alive, and communicated this to the property management, however I have yet to hear back on any sort of compensation for this. Location was nice, it was close to downtown and all the cool things that Austin is. For our group it did it's job of hosting us, nothing too fancy, but great for the price.

Great stay
Was a little bit more out of the way than I originally realized (never been to Austin before), but Uber/Lyft was easy enough to use to move around (especially all the scooters!). Went with a group of 13 and had plenty of space to hang out and sleep, and the back was also very nice. Place was relatively clean and stocked with cups, pans, etc. One 'issue' was a roach that looked like it was dying by one of the back doors on day one when we arrived, but didn't see any others throughout the weekend.

Loved Austin!!!!
Came to Austin for a girls weekend and we had an amazing time!!! Beautiful city, great people and accommodations were perfect. The house was close to the airport, restaurants and downtown. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. We are already planning on making this an annual trip.

Awesome Property!
This is one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed at. Besised being in one of the best locations in Austin (walking distance to South Lamar and a few mins from downtown), the property was clean and the beds were comfy.
The property management company - GuestSpaces was so quick to respond to any questions or recommendations we wanted. Next time we visit Austin, we'll definitely be staying here again!

It met our needs
I rented both halves of this duplex so we would have all 5 bedrooms and four baths to accommodate our group of 8 adults and one 2 year old; everyone had their own bedroom and each couple had their own bathroom.
The location for us was very good. The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac and we had easy access to shopping, dining, trips downtown and other venues we visited. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the hosts provided linens, towels, and many other items we needed. There were enough plates, cups and cutlery for our group even for the Thanksgiving dinner we cooked (though we brought our own roasting pan, pie pans, etc.).
There were a few issues which I wrote to the owners about (so this is not a surprise to them), which I do want to mention. First, there was a lack of space to sit at the end of the day. The 3 bedroom unit had a three seat sofa (pictured) and one chair. The sofas in both units has a chaise section which makes it a bit more awkward when seating 3.
Since we were a group of 8, we often as a group moved from one side of the duplex to the other (especially after the baby was asleep) and unless we used kitchen chairs, we had people sitting on the floor. Surprisingly the 2 bedroom unit had one more chair but it was difficult to get everyone in one spot after dinner or in the evening.
The kitchen chairs in one of the units were hazardous; the screws holding them together were not properly affixed. As I mentioned I wrote to the owners about this after we left so if you're considering booking I would check with them beforehand - they assured me it would be fixed. Some of the doors didn't close well, but I've been told that is a Austin phenomenon.
The space in the back of the house was nice but a little dirty - again from what I see not uncommon for Austin yards.
Overall, we all enjoyed our stay. Prior to booking we were able to communicate with the owners and get information about the home and were offered the free use of a pack n play for the 2 year old to sleep in, which helped us immensely.

Our weekend was great! The house was very clean and we had all the amenities we needed. Everyone was very comfortable. The house is also in a great, convenient location! Thanks for making our stay in Austin a fun one!

Great place, great location and perfect for groups
We rented both houses for a bachelorette weekend (13 girls) and we had more than enough room and sleeping space. The houses were so cute and clean and in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and we were a quick uber to all our key destinations (6th St, Rainey St, Torcheys). The back deck is adorable and a cute area to have a cup of coffee or a cocktail! Our first night we had crazy stormy weather and a tree fell onto the deck. I contacted Kevin and he had someone at the house clearing it within the hour which we really appreciated.Place was great, location was great and we experienced wonderful customer service. Would def stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for space for a group!

The interior was modern/nice on one side of the duplex, the other side was mediocre interior
The outside of the duplex is really drab and ugly. Exterior needs sprucing up - walking up to it was scary and very misleading.

Disappointing--especially for the price.
We arrived in the evening after dark--no lights on and very difficult to get into either unit. It was clear no one had been to either unit for days before--lots of mail in the mailboxes, air conditioning units had been off for several days. The apartments were hot and dark. I could not reach the management company by phone--finally got someone via text. The wi-fi was disconnected and had to reset router with limited help. In one unit the rug in the living room was filthy--stained and looked awful. Ironic given the ridiculous cleaning fee. Had several "visitors"--multiple tree roaches in both units. Upside was the location and the number of rooms available. Will not be back.

Location was great, the house itself needs a lot of maintenance
Kevin was great, he let us check in three hours early, and let us check out three hours late which was really important given everyone's flight schedule. The house is really well located, great restaurants (Matt's El Rancho, Torchy's Tacos and Gourdough's Donuts) and a couple liquor stores and a Walgreens are all within a half mile of the house. It was a quick five/ten minute Uber to downtown Austin as well.
That being said, the house itself needs some attention. Granted, this was my first VRBO rental, and my expectations for the condition of a rental may have been unrealistic...but there were some problems that had we not been a group of guys, would have resulted in a far different experience.
First, when we walked in there were three dead roaches on the living room carpet of Unit A. I don't think anyone found any in Unit B. Over the course of our weekend, we did find a couple walking around outside on the backyard. The living room carpet itself is kind of greasy and covered in stains. The backdoor of Unit A is rickety and doesn't close all the way which is probably how the roaches get in. There weren't any additional towels or pillows, granted given that we were only at the house to sleep, we never asked for any additional to be provided. Everything else was just more of an annoyance, the shower head wasn't secured to the wall (or had come unglued), the toilet paper holder had come unsecured, and there were exposed nails/holes in the drywall in the bathroom.
I think if the girlfriends/wives would have been along, the roaches may or may not have been a deal breaker. But overall, the house was fine for a group of guys to use as home base over the weekend.

Modern, clean, convenient and overall great!!
The surrounding neighborhood was extremely safe feeling and clean. Location is so convenient to anything you want to do in Austin! We rented both sides of the duplex for a girls trip and it was so convenient. The sides are connected by a common back yard which made it so easy to go to the other side if needed. The houses are modern and were very clean upon arrival! Furniture and bedding were great as well. My only critique was we were in need of more towels but the units had laundry supplies and machines so it was all fine! I would Definitely stay here again and would recommend!

Great Place. Great Location.
Rented the entire duplex out for a bachelor party. It was a perfect location to get to downtown and several golf courses. Definitely would stay again. Managers were easy to deal with and made everything very simple for us.
