Very good

Beautiful area with the Pool and sweet rooms with air condition, fridge, comfortable beds. Incredible friendly staff :)

The kitchen was not clean at all, no clean towels, many ants and cockroaches, also a big table somewhere would have been great.

Superb

I wanted a place that was outside the hustle and bustle and this was a great spot for that. It was a lovely stay and I even extended for the night. Yes you can hear hens but personally I'd rather the sound of nature than a booming nightclub. If that is what you're after, I would stay a bit closer, I would have enjoyed a bit more of the nightlife if I was closer but didn't feel super comfortable walking all this way back from town alone at night. You can of course get taxis and there are ways but getting to town in the day is only a 20min walk or there is access to bikes.

Very good

We had a nice stay at Casa Curva! The rooms were clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, shower was hot and there was airconditioning. We read in the reviews about humudity but there was a humudity machine in our room which was very helpful, it wasn't humid in our room at all because of that. The owner was very kind and helpful and we were able to use the bikes which was nice. They are not the best bikes but as Dutch people used to cycling it was fine for us. It was a nice way to get to the center and back. Also I liked that we didn't stay in the busy and loud center. Overall I would recommend staying here as we enjoyed it a lot!

Loud loud loud!! We decided to forfeit our stay and find another location that was quieter.

The property is located adjacent to a chicken/rooster farm. Roosters were very loud and made it extremely difficult to sleep throughout the night. We are used to loud noises living in New York, but unfortunately, earplugs didn't help much to block out the sounds made by the roosters.

Very friendly and helpfull staff! very Nice and beautiful appartment with a great bed The facilities are good, there is a nice outdoor kitchen and you can rent bikes for free.

Super Cute Hotel

Very nice room with cute private bathroom in a hotel with just 4 units. Lovely pool area. Good shared kitchen. Met friendly guests.

There are chickens that squawk next door, but earplugs are kindly provided. It's a 15 minute walk to town, which was fine; but I didn't go out after dark, as I would have if I'd been right in town. The bikes that are provided aren't very ride worthy.

it should not be advertised as an apartment. it’s more likejust a single room with private bathroom.

Friendly Hostess.

Damped and smelly room located on a sketchy area. Non working fridge for a day. Kitchen needs to be upgraded,old and very dirty dishes, such as cutting boards, old nasty toaster, old blender., etc.

I ended up catching a cold--pool was chilly--no heat at all...

no food

no mention of roosters every night--ear plugs on both side of the bed was a bad sign! each moring everything in the room was damp/wet--sun hit area for very short time.

Small, not crowded venue. Rooms very comfortable. Outdoor kitchen made for quiet breakfasts

Quiet Location away from the noisy beach scene was prefect for us. Easy to walk or taxi downtown or to the beach

Everything was Perfect. this was our second time staying at this location. I April we stayed 5 nights. This time we stayed 7nights!

Exceptional

It’s a bit further out of town, which makes it a quiet peaceful spot to stay at. Except for the roosters of the neighbors, however they didn’t wake me up. And bonus: they provided earplugs, just in case. You can use bikes to go to town, just ask and they will give you the instructions:) kitchen is very equipped!

No negative points, I would def come back!

Quiet Affordable Comfort with a Pool 🌞

Quiet Affordable Comfort a cheap taxi ride from the Noisy Touristy central Plaza only 4 little apartments on site with the Pool at your door Lovely outdoor Kitchen and fridge in each room Great dining available at the Plaza, especially at Chocobanana! So Peaceful here on our final of 4 days that I didn’t even venture beyond the gate today

Very nice room with the pool right outside & good kitchen! Comfy beds & good wifi. Very accommodating hosts & nicely decorated.

Located a bit out of the way, and there are many roosters nearby.

Superb

I enjoyed that the accommodation only has 4 rooms and it is a walkable distance from the busy center. There are few lovely local businesses near by (bakery, coffee shop, seafood restaurant, fresh juices and tacos of course :)) Its nice to have an outside shared kitchen and a pool. I really enjoyed my stay here and the other travellers I met while there.

The ventilation of the rooms could be a bit better. Ear plugs are a must if you are a light sleeper :) as there is a chicken farm next door.

Chickens, chickens, chickens... they spoiled the whole experience. shared kitchen needs an update and daily cleaning. the checkin process has some issues as there is no staff

Very good

Beautiful calm garden, very clean and gorgeously decorated. Easy to collect the keys and very restful night's sleep.

The wifi is weak which made it difficult to work.

Small room, not an apartment.

Best place to throw a party. There is no reception so the owner doesn't show up. If you want to you can invite people, play loud music all night in the garden.

The room has most amenities. It's smaller than the listing says. It is not an apartment, it is only a room with private bathroom. The kitchen is shared and build outside in the garden. It's quite far from the center. There's 3 other rooms that are rented out to other people, and an appartement at the entrance.

Sweet place for the value. Community kitchen, fridge in room, murals on inside wall, Mexican tiles throughout, special stone work in shower, a/c in room, ceiling fan, personal safe, security fence, free bicycles and POOL!

Floor and shower could have been cleaner. Some lights don't work. Roosters (next door) are way better than bar noise, but definitely loud!

Very relaxing place close enough to town to walk but far away enough from noisy nightlife.

The pool was great and the patio was beautiful!

Smelled a bit moldy. Sheets didn’t stay on the bed.

Great pool

Lovely outdoor pool area, good value for money

Rooms are tiny and smell a little moldy and it ud quite a distance to town. Only one bike sas usable at the time we were there so they were not an option.

Just what you need for a good price

The property only has four units so it was never crowded in the pool or kitchen. It is located near the colectivo and bus stop which makes it easy to go to san Pancho or Vallarta cheaply. They provide you with bicycles which you can safely park at La Redonda Hostel their sister properly located in the center of the action near the beach.

The roosters throughout the night and morning can be quite loud. I’m a heavy sleeper so they weren’t too bothersome for me. My wife however slept with ear plugs in and still struggled to get adequate sleep. Something to keep in mind for travelers who have trouble sleeping in noisy places.

Roosters farm next door

well, accommodation itself was ok, also appreciate that we could check in early.

Right behind the wall there is a roosters farm - they start screaming around 2:30am everyday therefore it is impossible to sleep in this place. No matter if you close the door or so.. it is so intense.. Basically all 4 rooms meet outside early in the morning cause it’s impossible to sleep. I know that owner can’t really affect what is going on next door but I would call this as a scam anyway... this should be reflected either in price or mentioned in the description. Also- owners did not reply to our messages at all (wrong wifi password, and possible cancellation).

Amenities are excellent and price isn't bad. It's pretty private and all round decent value

Suggestion to put dehumidifiers in the rooms - there is a lot of moisture build up and will soon turn to mold if not treated
