About this house rental
Nestled in Port Elliot, this lovely house for $146 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Modern 2 storey house built in 2009 features an open plan upper storey with two balconies. 300 metre walk to the Chiton Rocks beach and surf lifesaving club. Enjoy the benefits of being close to both Port Elliot and Victor Harbor combined with the relaxation of being away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of the area. This property has all of the things that you need to enjoy your stay in the Victor Harbor area. What is included? You get full usage of this fantastic house including all linen. Basically all you need to do is bring your food and your phone chargers and you are set for a great holiday. Enjoy! Whats Nearby? 300m walk to the beautiful beach. Close walk to the lake which you can also see from the rear balcony. A 5 minute drive will get you into the heart of Victor Harbor where you can experience a walk over to Granite Island, shopping, mini golf, and side shows. Only a few minutes down the road is Port Elliot, which has some great shops and a lovely hotel if you feel like a few drinks or a meal. Absolutely fantastic location.

We are enjoyed our stay at this property. House was very clean and kitchen well stocked. It's only a short walk to the beach, and we were able to bring our dog which is always a bonus. Probably only negative is that it could do with a new couch!

We enjoyed our stay, which comprised of hot and cool days. There was plenty to do. Our stay and booking was smooth and the communication with Jana good. The lack of a second bathroom proved challenging at times but we knew this would be the case. The only downer for us was the dirty beach water due to the Murray flooding but that's nature.

We had 2 families of 4 staying as well as my dog. Great fully enclosed yard for kids and pets. Very handy doors/gates at top and bottom of stairs. The outside shower very handy to get sand off of everyone before going inside. Jana very responsive and super easy to get in touch with, we will stay again.

A short stroll to the beautiful chiton rocks beach..house not very sound proof and traffic noise quite noticeable in morning and evening..but beautiful view over the hills and pretty convenient location for a summer escape..pretty well decked out house.

This house was used for a group of young men 18 year olds for the end of the school year . Property was lovely , area was lovely and the neighbours were lovely . The boys were able to walk to Victor Harbour and McCracken and it also had a lovely outdoor back yard . Property owner always responded to my questions quickly . Definitely recommend this place .

Great place to stay. There was a bit of a mix up with the cleaner as we had an early check in but house hadn’t been cleaned. Was sorted very promptly.

This property was lovely. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The space was big enough for two families to stay, however, there is only one bathroom (two toilets though). This wasn't a big problem for us.
We would stay here again if in the area.

We love to return to Rocks Retreat. We visited a number of times and we always enjoy our stay. It's just like home away from home. We love the walks along the beach, Encounter bike track, Pt Elliott bakery. It's a really lovely area to stay in.

Disappointed with cleanliness
We were disappointed to find the property had not been cleaned. This was communicated to the owner who apologised and offered a $50 refund or to have the cleaner come back, we opted for the refund as we did not want to be inconvenienced any further.

Really enjoyed our stay.
Very clean and comfortable. Owners were very easy to deal with and contact if required. Good for the young kids, with gates on both the top ans bottom of the stairs. Location was great.

Nice beach house close to everything
We stayed at this nice beach house sharing with another family and kids, although the room upstairs with the double bed is a bit on the smaller side so might not suit a couple that likes a larger bed and a bit more space.
We loved the toddler gates on both end of the stairs, the two dining tables, the Netflix or foxtel options, the double sized fridge, coffee machine and room fans!
Jana was very responsive, helpful and friendly and we would definitely book to stay here again !

The location of the property and the layout of the house were very good. The downstairs bathroom door lock didn't work. The fridge and dishwasher weren't working but the owner supplied a new fridge next day, which was terrific. We loved all the toys supplied. Great property suited us to a tee. Plenty of bedding options and plenty of room. The play equipment in the back yard was a big hit with the younger kids and was a surprise as it’s not mentioned in the listing. I’m sure my family will stay again when in the state

Great group stay!
We stayed with a group of adults and toddlers. The house was perfect for our needs - plenty of space and facilities. Jana was great to deal with.

Great home
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a lovely time at Rocks Retreat with our extended family. House was very clean, and welcoming! beds were made up with linen and towels for our use. Well equiped kitchen and comfy lounge area. The house is well located walking distance to Port Elliot 30mins and short drive to Victor Harbour. Jana was a great host to deal with and attentive to our needs. Thank you for a great stay!
