Located in Hendersonville, this lovely house for $67 per night is a great choice for your next break. Upstairs bedroom and full bathroom, (keys /left for you upon arrival) ---You are renting one private bedroom and a private bathroom. Keyed bedroom door locks for your privacy. Come and go as you please, no curfew. This room has a full bath with tub and shower across the hall. Double bed with new memory foam mattress, chair and a place to hang clothes. Television with Amazon Prime movies, HULU LIVE and internet. It is 1 mile from the interstate and 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. There is also ample shopping 4 minutes away with several restaurants delivering to this property. There is a frige in the garage you are welcome to use. Linens and towels included. Coffee bar. If you are booking through Expedia it states that this house is on the lake, and it is not. maximum number of nights, 7 consecutive night.

Skip & Karla were everything you’d want in a host-friendly, thoughtful, & generous. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like it was our home too. They anticipated our every need and were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We definitely recommend this property without hesitation.

The owners are wonderful people who want you to feel at home. They have a beautiful home and love to get to know people, so if you have any questions with what to do there don’t hesitate to ask them!

While the hosts were very nice folks, this should not be considered a VRBO. I was not in a separated part of a house to myself, but was actually in the hosts' living space. Yes, I had a private bedroom and bathroom, but there was at least one other guest there, and the hosts themselves. You have to walk through their kitchen and living area to get to the room. Also, in the room, I found that the closet area and dressers were already occupied by the host's belongings. I stayed only two nights, but was not comfortable, as I expected to have a space all to myself. If you are OK with staying in a house with other people, you should have no issues. But again, this should not be considered a VRBO, as you do not have the whole space to yourself.

Hosts are very accessible/pleasant. Rooms are comfortable, clean and ready. Quiet neighborhood, yet very close to stores, church, and downtown Nashville.

I had such a busy weekend running the roads of Nashville to Dickson. I felt welcomed from the time I walked in until I left. Very peaceful which is what I needed and privacy as well. Lovely couple and I would highly recommend my family/friends to stay. I will definitely be back.

Was a little nervous about staying in someone’s personal residence but they were very welcoming! I tend to keep to myself and they did the same! The offered nice sweet treats and snacks every time we seen each other!! Overall a good stay with no issues!! Will try to book with them next time!!

When I needed a place to sleep for a couple nights in a recent trip to Nashville, the option to stay in Karla & Skip’s home was the right choice. Easy to find, peaceful neighborhood, and accommodations that suited me just right. Would definitely stay again.

The room and private bath were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the accommodations and the little treats provided by the host. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

This was the first time I rented a room in someone’s home, as usually I rent an entire home. I was traveling alone and felt more comfortable staying with someone and it was a great choice. The room and bedroom are upstairs and private and I was given a key to lock the door. Bed was very comfortable, good water pressure in the very clean bathroom, and I always sleep with earplugs and use a little sound machine so I didn’t hear any noise from the nearby well-traveled road. Karla and Skip were both around some of the time I was there and were very kind and gracious hosts. And like other comments I had read, the cookie left in my room was delicious! 😊

Skip and Karla made us feel welcome. The room was very nice and comfortable. After driving 7 hours it was great to just relax and have a good nights sleep. Karla provided some homemade cookies and water in our room. It was convenient to Nashville but outside of the city traffic. Would stay again if in the area.

Sweetest hosts. Karla and Skip are wonderful. The space was beautiful. Her baked goods were superior. They are incredible, dear people. Wish I lived close by. They could be best friends!

It was a wonderful experience and I have already recommended this property to friends that stay in Nashville. It’s peaceful and quiet in a great place to get away from the busyness of life. Yet, very close to Nashville, so you can have your fun and then enjoy the quiet

I really appreciated all the amenities: coffee bar, snacks, access to a fridge, motion sensor lights for the door and stairs, and a comfortable, beautiful room and bath. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay! We really enjoyed our late night snacks of cookies, brownies, and banana pudding!! It was an easy drive to Nissan Stadium in Nashville from their house. Karla did a terrific job of maintaining communication with us before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Karla’s property was very welcoming. She gave detailed instructions on how to get there and how to check in, which was very easy. Once inside we went up to our room which had a welcome sign on the neatly made bed. Our private room and bathroom were very clean. Their place is not far from Nashville and easy to find with food and drinks only a short drive away. Would stay there again for sure.

Home away from home
We recently stayed with Skip and Karla for a few days and absolutely loved it. It was like staying with family. They provided a beautiful home, private room and bathroom. We felt welcome instantly and enjoyed visiting with them about places to go and things to do. They always had breakfast and snacks available, which was very much appreciated.
