About this cabin rental
Located in Lake Texoma, this lovely cabin for $218 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. We’ve taken the effort out of making memories and great experiences! Deer Manor is a completely remodeled Lake Texoma cabin, with lots of space, privacy, and world-class fishing! The cabin is surrounded by trees, but has a long open yard that backs up to 300+ acres of heavily forested Corps of Engineers property which supports an abundance of wildlife, such as turkey, raccoon, foxes, and of course, deer. Start your morning off with coffee from the living room’s HUGE picture windows overlooking our beautifully treed property watching the birds, and other wildlife. Good hiking/walking trails through the Corps property, and straight to the lake shore, but don’t stop there; feel free to satisfy your wanderlust and hike the many trails that wind their way through the forest. We provide quality recreational equipment, and lots of fun activities on the property. You'll have access to fishing poles and tackle and kayaks. We have two great geocaching courses, a tire-swing, a basketball court, horseshoes, corn-hole, a selection of board games and a small library with great books about adventure and woodcraft. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room/dining area, and a well-appointed kitchen. Our property is functional, affordable, and was very well thought-out in preparing it for you and your family.

Loved the place, the big windows let you enjoy the view, especially when its over 100 degrees. Only an hour away but feels like you’ve gotten away from the hustle and bustle of life. Very quiet, no noise other than the animals. Had a little mix up in the beginning but Daryl took care of us and we are grateful for that! Reason for the 4 star on cleanliness.

Great place to stay, very clean and all the amenities you need. Quick easy drive to and from the boat ramp at Mill Creek Marina. Parking is a little tight at the property but overall great place.

We were so impressed with Deer Manor. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has all the things you would need to feel right at home! We had a mechanical issue with the A/C and the Owners had someone come out immediately!! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay on Lake Texoma.

Life has gotten hectic. We need a few days away from it all. This place was perfection! The cabin is beautiful, clean, and cozy. We especially loved the huge patio and the wide open view. We’ll definitely be back again soon!!

Adorable little cabin with a beautiful lot of trees and open spaces! Outdoor lighting by the fireplace with music to add to the ambiance. Beds were comfy and warm! Everything has been magic. The nature is gorgeous, the house is cozy and lovely, with stunning views of the forest. We loved every part of staying indoors as well as venturing outside. We’ll return in the summertime to be at the beach and do some fishing. Thank you for creating beautiful memories for our family.

Definitely a location for those that prefer to be outdoors although I can see with what they keep inside the cabin being there in the winter could be enjoyable as well. Perfectly stocked kitchen

Property has very spacious private yard, cabin nicely decorated and comfortable. Fire pit area is great! Love the hammocks and listening to nature. Outdoor shower came in handy too! Lake is about half mile away, so property is not on the water. There are some trails from the property where you can walk to lake or just hike. Kayaks were nice to take down to the lake area. Golf cart would have been great to have to drive around exploring area and to drive down to lake, however found out it wasn’t working after we got there. Listing also noted bicycles which were not there either. Overall we liked the property, and the nice large outdoor area. Very clean.

A few things we didn’t expect that may be helpful in planning your trip with littles: there is a pack n play, safe rails for the bunks and a sound machine in the bunk room. They also have pet beds and a crate next to the washer and dryer. They generously provided laundry detergent, dryer sheets and dish pods. Overall everything was working well, very clean and perfectly inviting. We loved staying here!

This was our 3rd stay in this awesome VRBO! We love the large windows and great views, the hosts have everything you need in the kitchen for a comfortable stay, and there’s so much to do outside! Hike a short little trail to the lake, play horseshoes, go on the scavenger hunt, ride bikes, grill and eat on the patio, watch birds, have a campfire, or take a short drive to the wildlife refuge center. If you have a boat, bring it! The marina is a mile or two away. We love this place as it’s also quiet and secluded. It’s always our choice for a quick getaway from DFW, and the hosts are friendly, helpful and quick to respond if you have a need.

I had invited my grown kids to join me last minute but they were busy so it was just me and my dog, Bacon! After a challenging year in education and my daughter's graduation, I was not mad about the time alone in this location! The beach was a little further away that I expected, but we made it to the trails to see the beach, and the property has so much to do itself. My dog and I relaxed in the yard on the hammocks, on the porch, took golf cart rides, went to Island View Park Beach and rented a shelter for the day and had a great time. The kitchen has everything needed. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but Brookshires Grocery provided for easy to make meals. I went on a sunset cruise the last night I was there. BEAUTIFUL! The only thing I think I was missing was a screendoor to keep the door open in the cool mornings,/evenings without the bugs.
