About this house rental
Situated in Vendays-Montalivet, this charming house for $326 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The house easily accommodates 10 people and is divided into 4 large bedrooms (2 of which have en-suite bathrooms (shower, toilet and basin). There is also an additional large family bathroom (shower, bath, toilet and basin). The large living area contains WiFi, satellite TV, BluRay, DVD, CD, comfortable sofas and a dining table for 10 people. The modern, open plan kitchen has electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all you will need to cook comfortably. The large garden is nicely set out and great for families. There is a decking area and outdoor tables, chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue. Montalivet-Les-Bains village centre with its famous market, shops and numerous restaurants is a short distance along one of the many cycle paths / footpaths on the edge of the forest. The quiet sandy beach is an easy walk beside the forest.

We had a wonderful time…
The house is nice and close to the beach, we walked every day. Very well equipped kitchen for us, being nine people. Patrick was very nice and helpful, we would like to come back one day..

Traumurlaub in Montalivet
Ein wirklich großartiges Haus, seh komfortabel, Küche sehrgut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und brauchen könnte, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, praktisch. Mit Freunden hat man man fort Platz für alle, kann sich zurückziehen, spielen, der Garten sehr groß, perfekt, 5 Minuten zum Strand mit dem Rad und zum Markt

Schönes geräumiges Haus in Strandnähe.
Wir haben mit unseren Kindern und Enkelkindern einen herrlichen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus ist besser ausgestattet als angegeben. Auf der Terrasse gibt es nicht nur Hocker, sondern auch normale Stühle mit Lehne. Außerdem sind ein Geschirrspüler, eine Waschmaschine und eine Trockner vorhanden. Vielen Dank an Patrick.

Urlaub von der ersten Minute
Das Haus, der Garten, die Einrichtung entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt dort wirklich nichts. Und für unsere beiden Hunde ebenfalls super. Die Strand- und Stadtnähe ist klasse. Da wir immer Räder dabei haben, ist dieses für uns perfekt.

Traumhaus am Atlantikstrand
Wir haben zwei Wochen mit Freunden hier verbracht. Das Haus mit großer Terrasse und Außengrill ist sehr gut geschnitten. Es gibt einen großen Wohnbereich mit offener Küche. Alles ist sehr funktionell und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die drei Badezimmer waren top. Auch an warmen Tagen bleibt das Haus angenehm kühl. Wir hatten Fahrräder geliehen und konnten so in wenigen Minuten entlang am Pinienwald zum Strand oder nach Montalivet rollen - der tägliche Markt ist ein Muß. Das Klima ist absolut angenehm. Der nahe Ozean trägt sehr zur Erholung bei. Ausflüge nach Soulac-sur-Mer mit Kathedrale, zu den Seen von Carcans, zur Düne Pyla, Arcachon, nach Bordeaux oder den Châteaux (z. B. „Château La Tour de By“ täglich geöffnet) runden das Urlaubserlebnis ab. Montalivet ist ein hübscher Ort in flacher Bäderarchitektur. Es gibt viele Restaurants (La Part des Anges ist sehr zu empfehlen) und kleine Geschäfte zum Stöbern sowie einen Sparmarkt. Im nahen Umkreis sind Lidl, Aldi und Carrefour zu erreichen. Wer Tennis mag, kann sich z. B. im „Le Gurp“ Richtung Soulac einen Platz mieten. Alles in allem eine Topadresse. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Kommunikation mit dem Hauseigentümer war sehr angenehm - vielen Dank an Patrick.

La maison est très bien conçue. Lumineuse et grande. Très agréable à vivre. A 10 minutes à pied de la mer et des commerces. Très belles vacances! Merci Patrick et Wendy!

Wunderbarer Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus.
Das Haus liegt in der Nähe zum Strand, den man zu Fuss gut erreichen kann. Und auch den Markt in Montalivet haben wir täglich zu Fuss besucht.
Die Einrichtung im Haus ist modern und auch für 10 Personen ausreichend, es fehlte an nichts. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, so dass wir gerne gekocht haben.
Einziger Minuspunkt waren die Stockbetten, da sie keinen Lattenrost hatten und wir die Matratzen auf den Boden legen mussten.

Haus für 2 Familien - sehr schön und in Strandnähe
Wir waren für 2 Wochen für einen reinen Sport- und Strandurlaub in Vensac. Das Haus ist neu, sauber, schön eingerichtet und ideal für 2 Familien, mit einem großen Gemeinschaftsbereich.
Der fußnah gelegene Strand - besser sind Fahrräder - ist sauber, weitläufig und nie überfüllt.
Vensac ist genau wie Montalivet ein reiner Badeort, jedoch schön angelegt und mit angenehmem Publikum. Einkaufen muss man im nahegelegenen Montalivet les bains, auch hierfür sind Fahrräder praktisch. Der Markt ist täglich und bietet eine riesige Auswahl an frischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Produkten.

agréable maison
Nous avons passé une agréable moment en famille. La maison offre la possibilité de passer de bon moment ensemble tout en conservant l'indépendance de chacun grâce aux chambres avec salles de bain.
Chacun à également beaucoup apprécié le jardin avec du sable pour jouer pour les enfants, un grand espace pour nos chiens et de l'ombre pour les adultes qui souhaitent se reposer.
L'océan est accessible à pied ou en vélo en quelques minutes ce qui est très appréciable

excellent séjour!
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans un gite spacieux, extrêmement bien équipé. Rien à redire, allez, nous suggérons des chaises longues pour encore plus de plaisir à l'extérieur qui sera encore plus agréable dans quelques années quand les végétaux auront pris du volume et de la hauteur. Mais dès à présent le grand jardin est agréable, conçu avec goût. Nous avions des vélos, ce que je conseille car la région est propice à la circulation cycliste et peut-être qu'un "gare-vélos" à l'intérieur du jardin serait aussi un plus! Nous conseillons vivement ce gîte!

Superbe séjour
Nous venons de passer un séjour en famille d'une semaine, et nous avons été agréablement surpris de tous les différents équipements que réserve cette maison. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour ce sentir comme à la maison. Une location propre, saine, spacieuse, et superbe extérieur avec une immense terrasse en bois, ou nous avons passé de bons moments.
Grandes chambres, belles salles de bain, et agréable à vivre. A 2 pas de la plage.
Je l'a recommande vivement.

This is great house for more than one family to stay in. Two large childrens bedrooms each with 3 beds and two lovely double rooms. Really well-equipped kitchen and spacious living area. Lots of thoughtful additions that make the house a really practical living space for families, i.e., large shoe racks, tonnes of coat hooks, plenty of towel hooks in the bathrooms, outside tap for washing off sandy feet, lots of washing lines and a bike rack.
An easy walk to a good surf spot or a short bike-ride to the nearest safe swimming area and town is only 5 minute bike-ride away.
The owner has been extremely helpful and communication was prompt and problem-free.
I would recommend bringing small fans for bedrooms in high summer - we had lots of days where it nearly reached 40 degrees and, with the shutters down at night for children, the bedrooms were quite hot. Being a fairly newly built property, shade is very limited but the garden and decking area are really spacious and lots of seating has been provided.
A really practical, user-friendly house for beach living and we would highly recommend it.
(6 of us stayed in total: Our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents - all very happy!)

Excellentes préstations, grande maison propre au calme dans petit quartier à l'extérieur de Montalivet. Se rendre à la boulangerie se fait à pied sans problème. Chambres spacieuses et salles de bains attenantes. Grand séjour et belle terasse en bois encadrant la maison. Tres bonne connexion internet.

We had a fantastic holiday in this lovely house. It is obviously well looked after. The kitchen provided all the equipment we could need.
It is a short walk from the beautiful, quiet beach which goes on for miles.
Next door to the house is a pine forest and the the kids loved walking the dog along the forest tracks.
The local town is also easy to walk to and has loads of great restaurants at good prices.
If you enjoy cycling then the cycle paths near the house link to all the nearby villages and beaches - although we didn't manage to try them all.
The house easily fitted all 10 of us in comfort and we made good use of the free WiFi and the Satellite TV.
All in all a great holiday and we will definitely be coming back again.
