We had a great stay in Malibu at Allie’s place. Home was clean and cozy. The balcony has amazing views overlooking the beach- we enjoyed sitting out there and listening to the waves crash. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location in Malibu! Property was great with all the amenities! Beautiful view is an understatement! Amazingly friendly owners! We ate at Cliff divers, D’amore, Geoffreys and Mastros! All a short drive from property. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful studio apartment with a private entry in the owner’s fantastically located home with a commanding view of the Pacific Coast from on high. Great kitchen, elegant bathroom (love the warming toilet seat!) and very helpful hosts. Excellent!

Thank you Allie and Doug. We loved the place and we will be back. The location is excellent. Santa Monica one way and downtown Malibu the other. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and especially the ocean view.

I didn't even go down to the beach as planned because the views were so wonderful from the patio, I never left! It is pure paradise and Allie + Doug are such lovely + generous hosts. Looking forward to staying again!

What a pleasure from start to finish. My daughter & I loved coming home after a long day touring to Doug & Allie’s studio. Having them live on premises gave me a sense of security being far from home. Should we have needed anything the convenience of having them there was great. They provide a comprehensive guide binder for their guests which came in handy. The sheets/towels were nice! They had welcome snacks/toiletries which my daughter really loved. Parking was right below the stairs - super convenient. The view was sweet- a few mornings from the balcony I spotted dolphins frolicking in he ocean below. I loved that we had a view w/out having to drive too far up. Neighborhood is a quiet respite from the hubbub below. This is a well stocked, clean & nicely decorated studio. Ally & Doug were delightful hosts- thank you! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay w you if we find ourselves back in LA. Highly recommend Allie & Doug’s studio!

The property was exactly as advertised! Great location, beautiful view, safe and very quite. We arrived to find both sliding glass doors open with a great breeze off the ocean, both doors stayed open our entire visit (day and night) . We closed them when we left at the end of our stay.

We book this property for 2 relatives who came for Pepperdine graduation commencement. They enjoyed the property very much. They were impressed with the amenities, the cleanliness and the brightness. We will book again when in the area. The only drawback for our family was the stairs to climb to get to the apartment. This was our issue, not the owners. The climb was hard for an elderly relative, but gave the most amazing view!
