Amazing 3 story Pocono Mountain Chalet getaway with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths with sleeping loft area and pull out couch. Sleeps 8. Perfect for the family vacation or weekend getaway. Located in Locust Lake Village, this three-story getaway sits on the community ski slope and is only 150 yards down the hill to the lake and beach. It's tucked into a very private location on an acre lot. In winter you can enjoy watching the skiers come down the the mountain or join in the fun. The home features a rear deck for barbecues and a sun deck upstairs off the master bedroom suite. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace in winter and cool AC and ceiling fans in summer. Fully equipped kitchen, two TVs DVD player, WiFI, a stereo and CD player, pool table, bar with stools, washer, dryer and built in phone booth. Locust Lake Village is located in Pocono Lake, PA; close to Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resort, Split Rock Lodge, Lake Harmony, Camelback Ski and Water Park, Pocono Raceway, and Mt Airy casino. Property was beautiful. House was clean. Love the view from the deck. My shelf and my hunting buddies loved Locust Lakes, we saw more deer outback than we did in the game land. I will definitely book for next November.

This is our second stay at this home. There were some nice improvements in the kitchen. The home has everything you need. Our only complaints are it could be cleaner upon arrival (dust on heaters and ac vent filters) and the mattresses could be updated. They're loud and not very comfortable. Overall a great community and a nice home.

This cabin is perfect for a family get away! It is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. We were there for the Nascar race. It's the perfect spot. Only 9.3 miles from the track.

The house was perfect for a relaxing, quiet week in the Poconos. All amenities were provided. Wildlife was abundant (we saw deer and turkey from our porch!). The host was quick to respond to a question I had about the lock box. And...the location was ideal - all of our activities were about 30 minutes from the rental property (white water rafting, Jim Thorpe, ziplining, bike riding). Our family of 4 had one of our best vacations ever!

We had a lot of fun without even leaving this beautiful property! From the pool table in the basement to the deer in the backyard , this house is amazing. It’s decorated very nicely and it was very cozy . Definitely would go back again .

House was as described! Location was perfect. Little things I forgot there. The view was amazing. I will definitely rent again. The owner was quick with responses. I was happy not to be overwhelmed with additional fees like most rentals.

Home is very spacious with a pool table downstairs great for family/friends. It was a wonderful getaway and there is lots to do outdoors! Tons of hiking trails and lake views that I truly enjoyed. This was a nice place to rent. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice big deck on the main floor and enjoyed sitting drinking coffee every morning on the deck off the upstairs bedroom. Quiet and Plenty of deer to see. Would definitely rent again.

We even locked ourselves out the first night and communication with the owner was so easy and helpful, we were back inside within 15 minutes. The only thing that could maybe use some updating might be the mattresses, some of them were very noisy if you moved at all in your sleep. Still, that was one small thing in contrast with all the other positive aspects of the house! The pool table and bar were great, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the decks and outdoor spaces were beautiful! My fiancé already is talking about making this a yearly tradition and we would definitely stay here again!

The property has potential. The picture looks like you are on the lake, but you are not - there is a downhill walk. The entire inside needs renovations, from painting, to new furniture (mattresses) to replacing the cabinets that are falling off the wall or a door held together with a velcro strap. The refrigerator had duck tape holding the bottom drawer together and the insulation had come apart from the door and was attached to the other side of the refrigerator. There were only 3 (three) wash clothes but I dared not go any farther into the closet since the smell was so bad, everything was piled up while nothing was neatly folded. There was dust, dirt and spider webs everywhere around the house. We had to venture out to the deer infested area to pick up fire wood because there was only a few pieces in the house near the washer and dryer. When we first walked in the floor was covered in debris, looks like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. The shower on the first floor had a stream that looked like it wanted to message but it did not shoot out at all - you had to stand directly under it to get in line with the water. We were afraid to use the dishes since the pans had a layer of grease that you felt immediately upon touching it. The sofa was so worn - you sunk into one side of it. The outside furniture including the chairs on the deck were covered in moss and algae - who would ever want to sit on them. There was supposed to be smoke detectors - there was one with a bracket only and the other did not work, we know because the smoke from the fireplace backed up so badly in the house, the smoke detector should have gone off. The heat registers were rusted and we really could not tell if that was mold growing around them. The light switch in the bathroom was missing the dimmer button. The lock on the bedroom french doors would not latch. We are not at all trying to bash this place but for what we paid, in the off season, this place should have been immaculate and it was far from it. The owner should be ashamed to ask for that kind of money and not keep the place up or make renovations. It is totally unfair to someone that has no idea what they are getting into. We based our decision on what the owner tells us and reviews from others. We looked and looked and decided on this place and unfortunately we chose wrong. I hope Vrbo takes action and demands renovations or removes this location from its site.

We wanted quiet, we wanted relaxation. We wanted to enjoy our family time and we absolutely did that. The house was cozy and fully stocked. Any time I reached out to the owner he responded quickly. Plenty of parking and was an even halfway point for all invited.
