A wonderful space for an extended family or a group of outdoor enthusiasts, this elegant home offers 5,200 square feet of contemporary living space with floor-to-ceiling windows, new furnishings, and multiple fireplaces. After a day on the links or the ski slopes, you'll come home to such special amenities as an in-home audio system (with 1,500 CDs), a gas grill, Apple TV on several of the five flatscreens, and a master bathroom with a jetted bathtub and a steam shower with stereo speakers. THINGS TO KNOW Community amenities are provided by Elkhorn in Sun Valley and have periods of closure. Due to construction, there will be no pool or hot tub access during the 2020 and 2021 winter seasons. Golf and tennis are closed from November 1 through May 1, this is weather dependent and could be extended or shortened at the discretion of the association with/without cause or notice. Guests can enjoy the use of a steam shower. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Ski shuttle details: Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The location is wonderful, near Stanley and Sun Valley. The home has a fantastic kitchen and good supply of utensils and gadgets. Also, big patio w grill and jacuzzi are great features. Our only issue was that there is NO AC in this home. At night it was around 80 degrees inside which was quite uncomfortable for sleeping. The bedroom with three beds/three teenagers had only one working window which was placed right by one person’s head. No screens = lots of bugs. It did not cool down inside the home until morning. There are lots of fans but only some worked and they really just blew around hot air. Lastly, there is carpet in the bathrooms. Around the toilets and showers. The home was clean but this doesn’t seem sanitary in a rental situation. If there was AC & no carpet around the toilets and showers I would give this home 10 stars.

Very lovely SV home with everything you need to feed and entertain a large group! We visited for a momentous birthday celebration and were easily able to accommodate a large group and cook for the entire crew! Two ovens and dishwashers were a life saver!

This was perfect for our adult children and their partners and us for a four day wedding trip. The hot-tub was a favourite, and the five large bedrooms and five bathrooms gave everybody space. It will sleep 12 very comfortably, but that includes one triple room. The TV Nook with big gas fire will be a gathering space in the weather. The owner has a number of rules, e.g. no shoes indoors, no pets, no parties, but these all ensure that the house is immaculetly presented.

House location, size, and layout works well for our group. This is the second time we’ve rented this house. House keeping and prep was not good. Two bathrooms-downstairs- had no hand soap, or no toilet paper. There was no dish soap in the kitchen. The outside patio furniture was filthy and unusable. Very different than our prior experience. The alarm system went off a couple times in the very early morning.

Couldn’t Be More Perfect

Lots of room to talk in the kitchen, which usually is where folks congregate, and then, a formal dining table with room for 12 comfortably. All bedrooms were clean and well appointed, and there were little notes on things like starting the fires or turning on the heat, so that we didn’t wonder if we were doing it properly. That was very appreciated. In summary, it was a great home, and would recommend it, especially for large groups.

This home is FABULOUS!

Our group of ten rented this home for three nights. It was absolutely way better than we ever could have anticipated! The home is GORGEOUS, amazing views, totally set up for cooking and entertaining....we weren't lacking anything! Every bed was super comfy with luxurious linens. The hot tub on the deck is the best! The steam shower is awesome! We enjoyed the bicycles in the garage, the incredible collection of CD's and sound system - we highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to visit Sun Valley - and it's only three miles from the Sun Valley Lodge! We will definitely be returning! Thank you Barry and Carolyn for making our stay so special!

Our extended family ages 2-67 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was centrally located, very spacious for our group of 11. Most of all we appreciated the extremely well stocked kitchen, the size of the bedrooms and baths, and the formal dining room.
