Situated in Madeira Beach, this attractive cottage for $130 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Cottage by the Pass, downstairs unit, offers all the charm of days gone by as well as all the modern conveniences. Cottage by the Pass is located just steps from the white sand, with no streets to cross. Across the street is John's Pass Village and Boardwalk. Inside you will find a spacious kitchen with travertine counter tops, and energy efficient under the counter washer and dryer. Wood floors in the living area and bed rooms. Bathrooms have a complete new look with marble showers. Outside the french doors in the back is a patio with a gas grill. In front there is a large patio with a white picket fence with lush tropical landscape. If you are booking through VRBO - it will be transferred over to Vicinity Vacation Rentals for concierge service, to make final payment and to receive Final Instructions. You will be receiving emails from: [email protected] Pets (dogs) considered $100 Fee. Sorry no cats. If you would like to bring your small dog, please inquire first before you book. Your final payment will automatically be charged with the card on file used to pay your deposit, 14 days before your arrival.

The location was awesome - directly across from John's Pass, and very easy to grab some dinner or drinks and see live entertainment! The beach is also very easy to get to, I should have counted the number of steps - but v. close! The unit itself is great - roomy, good amount of space for the family to spread out. The kitchen is huge and there were ample supplies for us to cook our breakfasts each morning. We had a small item pop up during our stay - lack of batteries in the TV remote, and they were dropped off first thing in the morning! We didn't have to worry about being bored that first night as there was entertainment across the street, and there were plenty of books for us to choose from and start reading. After we left, we were more than an hour away and realized our son left his cell phone behind. A quick call and text to Cherie and we came up with various possible solutions that would work, and our situation was resolved without us having to drive all the way back. Everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. If we're ever back in the area, we will be renting from here again.

BAD. Floors filthy, lampshades and blinds very dusty, looked like MOLD in shower, kitchen supplies very used and a fist size hole in one of the walls and they charge $60.00 for damage which is non refundable. I recommend not staying here.

We had such a fun time! The location is incredible, walking distance to everything johns pass. The owners were very fast to respond if we needed anything. Plenty of space inside for dinner/cooking! My only note I’d say is that the couch/futon can fit 2 small people, I’d recommend planning 1 person/adult size on the futon.

This is the 3rd year we’ve rented the cute purple cottage. It’s the perfect location, just a short walk to the beach and John’s Pass right across the street. It’s very clean and well taken care of. The owners are amazing! We will be booking again for next summer!

Was worried about this unit because it was downstairs apartment and had window units in the listing. So glad we did it! It was exactly what we wanted. Was able to park the car when we got there and had everything we wanted in steps from the unit. We enjoyed the front patio and gas grill so much. Walked out back to the beach and out front to shopping, restaurants, drinks and live music. Can’t wait to stay again.

We loved the location of the house! Close to the beach and Johns Pass. This was our second stay at the house. We had some issues with the cleanliness of the house but the manager was prompt, professional and caring when addressing it and actually came and cleaned it herself while we were at dinner. Hopefully the issues get resolved so other families can enjoy their stay as it is a great property.

The unit was very noisy with music across the way until 10pm. The street was also noisy because it was the main drag. It was difficult to get heat in the unit. I would not want to rent the unit again.

Our family was very comfortable in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach home. Beach is 1/2 block walking distance and John's Pass Village is across the street. Lots of room and beds comfortable. We brought some conveniences with us and made Publix run the next morning (2.5 miles). Could have used extra toilet paper and paper towels. The parking instructions were a little confusing -- park in the "back" of the property. The gravel driveway next to home appeared to be a "drive-thru" and there was a lot in the back of the house large enough for 3 cars. I found out real fast that the gentlemen in the back of the property told me he loves to tow cars and he does not have any "Private Property" signs. So park in the driveway right next to the house. Otherwise, we loved our stay, the convenience to everything and we will be back again! Thank you!

Internet is slow, lots of tv buffering. The recliner and futon are neither one comfortable. Large masses of spider webs in ceiling in the small bedroom. Any kitchen items you might need there, even a rolling pin. The location is great. The local beach is great.

We were in town on business and looking for a place midpoint between areas we needed to be. Stumbled upon this place by accident. What a surprise! Everything we needed was right there! Food, nightlife, beach, literally everything. I’m looking forward to visiting again with my wife, this time for pleasure and not work!

This was our third stay at the cottage, and we are never disappointed. Right across the street from Johns Pass and the beach is just a few minutes walk. The owner is always helpful with any concerns. Our family hopes to go back next year! It’s a perfect vacation spot!

Cute little place, loved how you can walk to shops, restaurants and beach! Wished there was a better deck area for seating is the only con besides not being right on the beach to see it off the deck but the beach is still so close to walk to! It's cozy, comfortable and great location would definitely recommend and stay again! Also, the agent is very quick at responding to your messages/calls and so helpful! Loved our stay.

Grew up in area and enjoyed the exact area the place is with very little driving needing when arrived and everything at our finger tips. Images doesn't do it justice. Contact with host was very easy with questions and concerns before and during stay. Definitely will revisit.

This little cottage had it all!!!! Close to Joh’s Pass. Patio you could sit and listen to the music from the Bamboo Bar across the street!
Cherie was the best and I was so happy I got to meet her. We have already booked for next year!! The little Purple House is awesome!!! See you next year!!! Enjoyed our stay and we had friends come over and also loved it!!!!
