I liked the friendly staff, the rooms had been updated and were clean with nice beds and linens, nice shower. Great parking, little area to sit outside your door, small town & Route 66 atmosphere.
Location was on the East end of town, so not really within walking distance of the downtown gift shops. Coffee was available in the room but no Decaf options. I even asked in the Lobby and she looked but no Decaf or Herbal Tea. Not a big deal, just would have been a nice amenity. TAKE NOTE city people. The town closed up by 8pm FYI.

The location was awesome. We loved Seligman. We loved the atmosphere and the old cars. This motel is a very quaint and exactly what we were looking for. The two ladies there were very nice, friendly, and helpful. I feel terrible I can't remember their names. The room and the property were old but someone is keeping the place in pristine condition. It was very clean and very well kept. You can park your car right in front of the room which was very convenient. The only compliant I have was I guess they had just cleaned the carpet or something there was a strong cleaning smell in the room but other than that it was great. They have the rooms decorated in signs and memorabilia which was fantastic. The Road Kill diner was great. The food was delicious and not too expensive. The people there were very friendly. When we were there we got a discount on food staying at the motel. I am guessing it may be the same people who own both places? The diner is fantastic with a gift shop and all. If you go there check out the places down the road! Seligman is a place I am definitely going to go every so often. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this motel again or recommend it to others.
Just one complaint. There was a strong cleaning smell in the room when we first got there. It did dissipate later but I suspect maybe they had cleaned the carpet or something. The room was exceptionally clean and well kept. I mean I've stayed at much newer and nicer hotels where the properties weren't nearly as clean and well kept as this one, just saying.

On Route 66, parking in front of the door. And not too busy area.
Room was clean and ok, but the smell of the detergent was very strong. Average design.
