Property was away from the main busy strip. Great quiet area. Facility accommodation was great for 8 persons. Facility was clean and had enough plates and utensils for all 8 persons. Can fish in the channel or across the street but did not catch much. Across the street we saw people catch lots of blue crab with a chicken leg tied to a string.
The sea wall strip was just a 15 to 20 minute drive. Close to Walmart where we got everything we needed. Convenient store just at entrance to subdivision. Property had 3 bedrooms plus a loft.

Fishing, swimming, canoeing, and beach times! There were the perfect amount of activities for the adults and kids, mixed with the right amount of relaxation!
The house was equipped with all necessary cooking and eating utensils - we were able to prepare every meal with what was provided!
We stayed for 4 days with 8 people - so we went through the provided paper goods rather quickly! My only recommendation would be to provide more toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and maybe some ziplocks or tupperware to allow easier transport of food to the beach. Tin foil and saran wrap could have been helpful - but we figured it out without it!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! THANK YOU!

Loved fishing out the back door with grandkids. Good places to eat close by. Although property is 3bd 3bath there are four extra beds that are great for large families. Will stay again!

The home didn't have any toilet paper, napkins/paper towels, no foil, salt & pepper shakers, all the knives in the kitchen were basically as sharp as a butter knife and we had to stock pretty much every little basic thing. The gas tank on the grill ran out and I called the prpety manager. She said to go get it replaced myself and that "you can bill us, if you want" so I didn't think that was very good customer service. The entire upper deck sways really badly, needs to be reinforced . There are some people that are permanent residents and not renters that live around and they're very particular about the slightest noise so make sure you're as quiet as a mouse. I've stayed at beach, lake and river home rentals every year (sometimes twice a year) for my entire adult life and this one, overall, I would not stay at again but I'd still recommend it for some people, just not for me.

Totally Recommend!
We will definitely be back. Loved the location, set right on the canal with 2 porches(up/down stairs), both great for fishing. They had literally everything we needed! Dock lights, green light, casting nets, Kayak, cutting area, the things to cut with(bring your pole, bait and gear), comfortable chairs to just relax or fish, table, outside shower to rinse off from the beach that’s just across the street, Loved the house set up & and was fully stocked of all house hold necessities.
The neighborhood is really nice and so were the neighbors around. Very friendly area. This is great for families with kids (if curious). Had no issues with getting in touch with property manager as they were more than helpful.

We drove from canada to texas for spring break and it was well worth it. The house was perfect for us and had everything we could possibly need. Owners were quick to respond to our questions. We most definitely will be coming back

The house is beautiful and close to the beach. The deck has a perfect view over looking the canal. It's close enough to all the fun, and yet far enough away you don't have to deal with a lot of people. We will definitely do this again.

- Frig didnt work well at all. Lost over $150 in meat and groceries that went bad
- Pictures make it look much larger

Overall Impression the place felt super cozy when you walked in....the lighting was great, one of the things that decides what house I pick is the couches and beds and the couches in the living room were cozy and the beds were comfy...this places has everything you need and it did have a microwave...from past reviews we brought our own thinking we needed one but they do have a microwave .towels and toiletries were provided which were a BIG plus..Overall I gave it 4 stars just because there needed to be improvements..the deck felt a tad unstable but not bad, some of the wood on the deck were missing and I did not felt safe with our kids because they can just go to that hole...if your looking to kayak, the kayak is huge and no seat just a lawn chair we found, the canoe is huge but fun...the stairs in the house is not made for kids for there are open so kids can potentially fall...the game room was nice but basketball play thingy unstable almost fell twice will playing.....table bench in kitchen was a pretty darn comfortable one...met neighbor on left shannon who was such a nice guy who let us borrow his paddle boat, kayak green light and also gave my dad some live shrimp....fishing was subpar...no light at this house but neighbor on left has green light and people in front do...caught 1 keeper 18 inch spec and dad n bro caught croaker,sand trout, catfish and baby flounder..overall pretty awesome stay and would def come back! Thanks for sharing your home with us! This place is clean and just a nice spot..wish paddle board, smaller kayak, closed stairs, updated game room and deck updated n it would deserve 10 stars =)

Great Easter!!
The stay was great! The location was perfect. Grandkids did fishing and kayaking. They loved it. Easter egg hunt at the park. Beach close by. Husband and I Rated this house at a 4. They would have a got a 5 but missing microwave...and please seriously think about a TV in the Master bedroom. Great stay!! Thanks so much for making our Easter memorable!!

Perfect Getaway Home for Large Family
My family & I loved staying at this beautiful home located right across the street from the beach in Galveston. The home was spacious, clean, and provided everything needed for an enjoyable weekend getaway. Our party of 12 never felt crowded or uncomfortable. It was very relaxing to sit on the large deck and enjoy the beautiful view of the canal. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. It was very easy to access the beach, just a 3-5 minute drive out of the neighborhood and across the street. The home owners were very good at replying to my emails, and very accommodating when it came to answering questions and providing all that was needed for our stay. We will definitely consider staying at this home again if available on our next trip!!
