Located in Old Colorado City, this attractive condo for $158 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Summary: Don't let the garden-level description fool you—this home is open and bright. It`s also clean and updated to modern perfection. Functional, practical, clean—everything you could need is here including a full laundry, plenty of parking, a great living area and a full kitchen showing off a bit with contemporary, wooden countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a cute and separate eating area. Absolutely exceptional, however, is the location of this rental. The Space: Comfortable with modern updates, a great price, and an exceptional location hard to surpass—this place might just be the perfect short-term rental for true travelers to Colorado Springs. Almost next-door to Red Rocks Open Space, and just down the road from Bear Creek Park, guests will enjoy amazing access to hiking, biking trails, and great places to explore. Both parks are considered "local" jewels…spots that locals frequent for their natural beauty, but perhaps not as well-known (or well-frequented) as other parks. Also close by are all the major attractions that folks visit the Springs for including Pike`s Peak, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City and Garden of the Gods. Permit: STR-0326 Guest Access: Another, potentially sweet (literally) amenity to this rental is its proximity to another local culinary jewel; just 1/4 mile from the Garden of the Gods Gourmet, guests can indulge their culinary palates for dinner, brunch or take-out, and walk or bike home afterward (burn those calories!). - Enter through the rear, west, or parking-lot side of the building. - Guest will have access to the entire unit. - Parking is available both on street, as well as in the spacious parking lot located right next to this property, on the west side of the building, close to the open field. - This is the bottom unit townhome of a 2-unit building. There are other short-term guests staying in the unit above. Please be mindful and respectful. The Neighborhood: Located just east of Red Rock Canyon Open Space, and the Rocky Mountain foothills leading up to Pikes Peak, this 2 bedroom condo is located perfectly for a true Colorado Springs experience. The home is modern and sensible, with updated living spaces and a stylish, remodeled kitchen. It features two bedrooms with queen beds, allowing 4 people to visit in cozy comfort. The living room TV is Netflix and Sling-enabled! The kitchen is spacious and aesthetic, with wooden counters and stainless steel appliances and comes with cooking utensils, pots, pans, and everything you will need to make gourmet meals for your family or significant other. Parking at this location abounds, with a large parking area next to the unit, as well as plenty of space on the street in front of the home. Getting Around: Lyft and Uber are available in this area but suggest having a vehicle for transportation. Other Things to Note: ATTENTION: Video Surveillance: – The Property has security cameras placed in the following areas: Locations of all Security Cameras: 1. Ring Doorbell at entry way This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury, guests sneaking in pets, guests disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund. The full deposit will be forfeited if any of the above are found. You will also be asked to leave the property immediately without any money returned. AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in. * We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. * 🐶Dog Policy: -This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance! * Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals. * This is the top unit town home of a 2-unit building. The unit below is also a short term rental so please be mindful and respectful; * No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors; * Garbage and Recycling bins are located under the stairs, trash pickup is on Tuesdays; * No central AC - there is an AC unit in the living room to cool the home Additional Services: - We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early. Thank you for your understanding. - Late Checkout Service: $25/hr (Late as 12 pm) Additional Fees: Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver: - Instead of charging a security deposit, We charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they May be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager. Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. Super cute and quaint property with easy access. Perfect location: hop, skip, jump to main attractions. We visited family in the Springs and they were also impressed with the location and property. Check out the cute German bakery when in the neighborhood! Very pleased with management; responsive and let us check in early to boot. Highly recommend!

Home was clean. For the most part. The towels and linens were very clean. Beds were comfortable. The only negative thing was the floor was sticky and not very clean.

BEWARE! This property listing is both MISLEADING and VERY DECEIVING. We were SO EXCITED to come to Colorado Springs and boy, were we let down! The pictures are SUPER CUTE, in fact they reminded me of an apartment that I lived in when I was younger. We drove down from Denver only to walk in to what appeared to be a dilapidated structure. There were 2x4’s outside of the unsecured front door, smoke stains all along the ceiling and wall line, you could literally hear the conversations of the tenants above, and their every move. It honestly felt as if they were going to join us in the living room at any moment. We stayed in this rental property, MAYBE 3 minutes TOPS before we walked out in a hurry. With all of the decent hotels in the area booked for the night, we ended up having to drive ANOTHER hour and a half BACK to Denver to scramble to find a hotel there. By the time we got settled back in Denver it was after midnight. It was such a WASTE of money and an ENTIRE day preparing to go there. When I called to ask for a refund they informed me that according to their “policy”, they would not be able to give me a refund. Both employees of “HOSTE” were incredibly rude. They refused to let me speak to a Supervisor or Manager, claiming there wasn’t one there. At one point saying a Supervisor or Manager would call me back and he or she never did. When I called them hours later after not hearing anything they said, “The Manager just walked in, just one moment.” She then came back and said the same thing as above, that they would not refund. When I asked to speak to him or her she stated he was now in a meeting. LITERALLY less than a minute later. I have NEVER written a bad review in my life but feel very passionate about this. Their customer service was beyond POOR and UNPROFESSIONAL. She then said that just because the place wasn’t “up to my standards” it wasn’t reason enough to warrant a refund. I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that I’m the ONLY person that expects to stay in a sound and safe structure and expects to stay in a rental that emulates the VRBO description and pictures, not an underground bunker of disgust. DISAPPOINTED and APPALLED do not even come close to my feelings on this. This listing was under a “PHILIP WILLBURN” who has multiple other listings in the area. I would NEVER do business with them again and before you do.. BEWARE!

The location was great and the apartment was very nice and clean. The apartment was a duplex which had a upstairs and downstairs. We stayed in the downstairs apartment. It was very hard to sleep as you could hear the noise from the people in the upstairs apartment. It was hard to sleep at night. We had to turn on the fans full blast to drown out the noise.
