Watch the sunset over the Rocky Mountain foothills as a herd of mule deer grazes quietly in the field just a few feet from your private deck. Walk or ride your bike to Bear Creek Park or Red Rock Canyon Open Space! The Space: Located just east of Red Rock Canyon Open Space, and the Rocky Mountain foothills leading up to Pikes Peak, this 2 bedroom townhome is located perfectly for a true Colorado Springs experience! The home is modern and sensible, with updated living spaces and a stylish, remodeled kitchen. The living room TV is Netflix and Sling-enabled! The kitchen is spacious and comes with cooking utensils, pots, pans, and everything you will need to make gourmet meals for your family or significant other. Parking at this location abounds, with a large parking area next to the townhome. Permit: STR-0325 Guest Access: - Enter through the rear, west, or parking-lot side of the building; - Guest will have access to the entire unit; - Parking is available both on street, as well as in the spacious parking lot located right next to this property, on the west side of the building, close to the open field; - This is the top unit townhome of a 2-unit building. The unit below is also a short term rental so please be mindful and respectful; The Neighborhood: This home is in Old Colorado City, just a couple miles west of downtown Colorado Springs. The area is known for its uniqueness, for its quirky, artistic vibe. Enjoy ridiculously good food at places like Tapateria, Jake & Telly's, Mother Muffs, Pizzeria Rustica, Paravacini's and so many more. The "strip" in Old Colorado city, complete with shops, bars and restaurants, is located just 6 blocks west of this property on Colorado Ave. Pikes Peak, America`s Mountain, is just a few miles west of this and Garden of the Gods is a mere 5 minute drive. This area is unique and also quintessentially Colorado. Getting Around: Although restaurants, parks and other attractions are located within walking distance from this property, we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around. Other Things to Note: ATTENTION: AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in. Video Surveillance: – The Property has security cameras placed in the following areas: Locations of all Security Cameras: 1. Ring Doorbell pointed at the driveway This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury, guests sneaking in pets, guests disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund. The full deposit will be forfeited if any of the above are found. You will also be asked to leave the property immediately without any money returned. - This is the top unit town home of a 2-unit building. The unit below is also a short term rental so please be mindful and respectful; - We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. - No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors; - Garbage and Recycling bins are located under the stairs, trash pickup is on Tuesdays; - Central AC: Nest in living area - 🐶Dog Policy: -This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance! * Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals. Additional Services: - We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early. Thank you for your understanding. - Late Checkout Service: $25/hr (Late as 12 pm) Additional Fees: (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver: - Instead of charging a security deposit, we charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they May be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager. Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. We so enjoyed our stay. The location was incredible! So convenient and close to many of the places we visited while there. It was so nice to have the extra space for our toddler to play. The kitchen was also a bonus and had everything we needed to make meals for our family. The property hosts were quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!
