Nestled in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, this charming farm stay for $156 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. The Wlosien Mill is located in a small village in Poland on the borders of three countries, Poland, Czech Republic and Germany with the possibility to dine each evening in a different cultural environment. The district of Lower Silesia is an area of natural beauty, mountains lakes and waterfalls as well as many places of historical and cultural interest, palaces, castles, churches and medieval towns. For the more energetic there is skiing, mountain climbing, hiking, white water rafting, cycling, horse riding and much more. The freestanding house (sleeps10 persons) with 4 double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and toilet and one with en suite bathroom, there is an extra bed in one of the bedrooms Also including an additional bathroom and 3 separate toilets, 2 on the first floor and 1 on the ground floor. All bathrooms have bath/shower facilities. The house is ideally set up for self catering with 2 kitchens (wet and dry) with washing machine refrigerator, traditional wood burning oven, electric hob and microwave. All kitchen utensils cooking equipment and crockery are available. There is a large sitting/dining room with flat screen TV and free wi-fi internet connection. In the outside area there is a covered sitting/eating area and barbecue facilities.

The house is surprisingly spacious and each room has its individual design with plenty bath room facilities, creating a comfortable atmosphere for young and old. It´s perfect for big groups and families up to ten people; the garden is spacious and holds many private corners. The intiriour is a delight with many small details to discover; we found it easy to do the cooking in one small kitchen area and wash dishes in the other kitchen room but a dish washer would have made it even more comfortable. Washing machine makes longer stays easy.

We had the best time ever at the mill! Sara and Witek were great hosts, we could visit them at their place and the gallery and the kids could meet the animals. The house is so big and full of details and history and entertainment options, it felt a bit like a time travel back in the old days but still with all comfort! Even if the weather sucks, you would have a great time there. But the garden is great to enjoy and adventure, the pond, the horses, the well, the wagon for little scientists and nature lovers.. this place didn’t cease to amaze me, I could write many pages.. The area is beautiful too, we only had time to visit a castle about 20mins away, which was gorgeous. But just having a stroll through the area is rewarding enough. We would love to come back and I regret not having stayed longer! Can fully recommend, especially for stressed big city families to calm down and bond with nature! Thank you again for the wonderful stay!

It was a wonderful stay, quiet, idyllic, in the middle of nature. And maybe best for parents: have a coffee in the morning and let your children disappear in the house, it is huge, full of toys, the old barn is converted into a recreational area with ping pong table, billiard room and many other things. Thank you Sara, for this wonderful long weekend!

We'd been eagerly waiting for our trip to happen for 2 years having initially booked a 2020 stay. The pandemic interfered of course, travel plans up in the air! It took a few reschedules but we finally got here! On arrival and seeing the first morning sun flood into the house to light up this magnificent place, it hit how much it was worth the wait!
Sara and Witek were so incredibly understanding with reschedules too. Different countries/different restrictions (didn't know whether we were coming or going in the UK!) a very frustrating time for both travellers and property owners. I book several properties a year (all over) in my position, and honestly; not all which required rescheduling were an easy/stress-free process. But communications with Sara were always brilliant; all the helpfulness and kind support in her responses, even during a really annoying time for hosts - who I appreciate got cancellations left-right & centre. It really did make us want to get to Poland even more; even on the day of arrival/check-in when our flight was delayed (as was happening a lot!) we arrived in the early hours - Sara and Witek were there to welcome us with superb hospitality. You won't find a nicer set of property owners do deal with. Take it from me!
Now I have to mention how utterly beautiful this property is! The house was actually the deal-breaker for my party to come to Poland in the first place. I was still in the "spinning the globe" process when I was looking for suitable places/potential countries for our trip, and then I saw the house and just knew we had to go! My party and I were travelling specifically for a creative photography holiday, and the character of the house just suited us so well. I communicated this with Sara in the early stages, and as we first got chatting I straight away sensed the passion, hard work and their own artistic love that had gone into this spectacular renovation. But even with the pictures/the evident passion from the hosts in-messages... You still need to be there to see and feel the true awe of the property! My fellow travellers came out to join me at different times - they each had no end of compliments for the place! Imagine walking into a fairy-tale place - the outside oozing history and pure countryside air... The inside just endlessly vibrant/palace-like even as every corner oozes with style! Yet still all the creature-comforts/luxury facilities put in place for guests needs to be met.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, vor allem für Familien mit Kindern. Hier wird es nie langweilig. Herrliches Anwesen, in dem man es sich auch bei schlechten Wetter gemütlich machen kann. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Ein ganz wundervolles Haus. Wir waren über Weihnachten dort. Dieses Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Total gemütlich! Im Wohnzimmer stand sogar ein kleiner Weihnachtsbaum. Dort kann keine Langeweile aufkommen. Spielgelegenheiten für Große und Kleine.Ein schöner Kachelofen verbreitete ein wohlige Wärme. Im Steinofen haben wir Pizza selbstgemacht.

Abgelegene Hütte mit viel Platz
Es ist ein älteres Landhaus mit Knarzen hier und da. Bis auf Görlitz ist keine größere Stadt in der Nähe. Wer also einfach mal ausspannen will, kein Luxusappartment braucht und die Unterhaltung selbst im Gepäck hat wird hier glücklich werden.

Die alte Mühle ist ganz unglaublich! Wunderschön saniert und total geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind so besonders und herzlich, wir kommen total gerne wieder.

Wonderful remote get away
We were a larger group of 8 friends and two small children and just had a wonderful time at Sara's place. Many of us felt that this was one of the best places we had had in the past several years for our yearly vacation.
Sara and Vitek welcomed us personally and showed us around, which was definitely useful, as there is a lot to see on the property. They were very friendly and accommodating.
The surrounding area is very much used agriculturally but still has a pristine vibe. Everything is very green and very alive. We enjoyed walking along the paths through the fields surrounding the village.
There's also plenty to see if you are willing to take drives of 30-40 minutes. Castles, traditional ceramic making, a sky walk with great scenery, and much more

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es liegt sehr ruhig und bietet sehr viel Raum zum Spielen. Wir waren als Familie mit 5 Kindern (11-17 Jahre) 1 Woche dort und es hat allen trotz Regentage sehr gut gefallen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und freundlich. Sie haben immer sofort reagiert und uns geholfen, wenn es nötig war. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Byliśmy tu zimą podczas pandemii i było świetnie!
Wykorzystaliśmy wszystkie atuty domu pokazanego przez Sarę i Witka: dobrze wyposażoną kuchnię (choć niektórym brakowało zmywarki), miejsca do: zabawy, wieczornego biesiadowania i oglądania filmów, piec do pieczenia pizzy. Szczególnie dobrze czuli się tu zwolennicy starych domów z mnóstwem ozdób. Dzieci uwielbiały głaskać i karmić jabłkami konie. W ciągu godziny dojechaliśmy do Szklarskiej Poręby i nacieszyliśmy się śniegiem. Dzięki Witkowi zachwyciliśmy się ruinami pałacu we Włośniu i wulkanem Czubatka. Przyjrzeliśmy się elektrowni w Bogatyni, kopalni odkrywkowej i Zamkowi Czocha. Wielką atrakcją tego miejsca był dla nas gospodarz, z którym warto porozmawiać o przeszłości tych ziem. To były krótkie zimowe dni z ciekawymi wycieczkami, i długie wieczory w świątecznie przystrojonym domu.

Für alle die den etwas anderen Urlaub suchen. Raus aus der Comfortzone und rein ins Abenteuer. Hier kann man unglaublich viel entdecken. Die Kinder können sich frei bewegen. Ein Besuch im Cafe der Vermieter ist ein Muss. Das ist noch unglaublicher als die Mühle. Auch ein kleiner Ritt auf Esel und Pony war spontan möglich. Es sind total offene, nette Menschen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Familienurlaub
Wir waren mit kleinen Kindern unterwegs . Trotz schlechten Wetters konnten wir den Aufenthalt dank der weitläufigen Unterkunft genießen. Aufgrund der individuellen Ausgestaltung des Hauses gab es immer wieder etwas Neues zu entdecken. Auch die ländliche Umgebung hat es uns sehr angetan. An einem Nachmittag waren wir zum Kaffee trinken in dem zukünftigen Cafe der Vermieter. Witek beeindruckte uns mit seinem profunden geschichtlichen Wissen über diesen Landstrich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt rundum genossen und können diese Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Grandioser Aufenthalt
Wir haben eine tolle Woche in der einzigartigen Mühle verbracht. Die Vermieter, Sara und Witek haben uns sehr detailliert, ausführlich und extrem freundlich eingeführt. Die Mühle ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit Sammelobjekten der Vermieter aus der ganzen Welt vollgepackt. Spaß hat uns das Pizzabacken im Brotbackofen aus der Jahrhundertwende und das Billardspielen gemacht. Für die Kinder ist alles erdenkliche Spielzeug vorhanden, so dass es nie langweilig wird. Die Mühle liegt ruhig in schöner Landschaft. Sarah und Witek wohnen ganz in der Nähe. Dort können die Kinder auf einem der drei Esel reiten und die langen Hörner des Ziegenbocks bestaunen. Dort gibt es auch ein wundervolles Café, welches die Vermieter bald offiziell eröffnen. Wir waren schon vorab zu Gast und können es sehr empfehlen. Dort befindet sich auch eine Boutique mit umfangreichen Sammelobjekten von Sara und Witek. Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung sind ausreichend vorhanden. Alles in allem hatten wir einen traumhaften Urlaub.

Wir haben mit acht Personen wunderbare Tage in diesem schönen Haus verbracht; einem historischen Gemäuer, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, Tischtennis, Billard, Gesellschaftsspiele, Reiten und Baden in der Nähe, Lagerfeuer unter sternklarem Himmel...alles da, was es für erholsame Tage auf dem Land braucht!

Christmas 2019....!
We were planning to stay here to celebrate Christmas 2019 but sadly after only a few nights had to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency - Sara and Witek (apologies if not spelt correctly) were friendly and welcoming hosts and offered us lots of support when we needed it .... The property is very large and set in a rural location, underfloor heating is a nice touch during the cooler months. An ideal base to see the less touristy side of Poland and to cross the border into Germany and Czech

Very inspiring and snug ambience
We stayed at the house for three days with a group of 8 people. Each of us was fascinated how the house looked like inside as the owners did a very good job in refurbishing the old house. They placed individual decoration in each room and equipped them with antique furniture. All of this looked very nice and inspiring to us.
The only downsides we faced were a mouldy smell in the room with the single bed and saggy + squeaky matresses in the double bed in the room which is directly next to it.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay which all of us enjoyed a lot!

Wir fanden es einfach wunderbar. Es war sauber und die Übergabe war sehr entspannt und unkompliziert. Wir waren eine große Freundesgruppe. In der Ferienwohnung war gleichzeitig eine Familie, was aber völlig in Ordnung war. Wir hoffen sie haben das auch so empfunden! Wir hatten eine echt tolle Zeit!
