We are excited to welcome you to our gorgeous 1920's Craftsman Bungalow in the heart of 12 South, Nashville's hippest neighborhood. Walk to restaurants, shops, and parks, or take an 8-minute ride to downtown.

Guests have access to all rooms on the first and second floors, and all outdoor areas, including the front porch, private side patio, and spacious fenced-in yard. You have full use of the 4 car driveway. The basement is locked for storage.
We provide access to the house through a keyless entry system, so you can enjoy a peaceful arrival and departure. However, we are available to assist you via email, text, phone, or in-person if needed, as we live just 15 minutes away. We decided rather last minute to take a road trip to Nashville, and were able to book this beautiful home. Dana was an excellent communicator way before we even got there. She was so nice, and because we have kids about the same age, she generously offered up things for us to do in the area. Another thing she did, that has never happened to me in renting a VRBO, is offered us early access to the home. Obviously I'm sure this isn't always possible, and in our case, we couldn't get there early anyway, but it was such a kind gesture. My wife and I are both into older homes with a historical feel, and this one fit the bill perfectly. And although it is old, it is charming, cozy, and has all the modern conveniences one would want or need. It's also stocked with the little things you may not have time to pick up, like toilet paper and soap, and coffee. The neighborhood is super cute and walkable, and is just a few blocks away from some awesome restaurants and fun places (my kids loved "Wanna Spoon", a cereal/ice cream place. Dana checked in from time to time, and was just awesome. Most VRBO's these days seem like they are managed by property companies, so to have the personal touch offered by the person who owns the property is really special. Highly recommend this place.

We came to Nashville for a quick weekend getaway. The Blue Door Bungalow was the highlight of the trip! We couldn't have found a better location. The neighborhood was quaint and safe. There was easy access to restaurants and entertainment. The home was breathtaking! Everything we needed was available to us from bottled water in the refrigerator to Kureig pods to extra toiletries just in case we forgot something! Our contact communicated effectively and was available to assist us if a problem arose...but we didn't need a single thing as everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at the Blue Door Bungalow! The property was super clean, well decorated, and easy walking distance to the 12 South area. Dana was great in all communications, and made herself available if we ever had a need or question. Would stay here again for sure!

8 family members from CA NY and TX, Comfortable bedrooms for all, 3 full bathrooms so we all could get ready easily. Well-stocked with paper goods and linens for all. Kitchen has everything we needed!
