The apartment is located about 10 minutes' walk from the train station on Via Marconi. It provides an easy connection to the airport using the Marconi Express and it is walkable to the main tourist center and good food. There is a PAM grocery store below the apartment and a bus stop right outside the front door where you can catch the bus to San Luca Sanctuary. The apartment feels very safe, with multiple locked access doors and a friendly building manager who seems to be available in the lobby most of the day. We picked up the keys from a bar next door, so it was nice not to have to arrange a meeting time with someone. There were lots of shelves and drawers for storage and the kitchen was well-stocked. There was a good hot water supply and good water pressure in the shower. We appreciated the air conditioner, the elevator, and the washing machine.
Be aware that if you are sensitive, the apartment is on a busy street with a lot of traffic and buses, so there is some street noise at all hours. But it is on the fifth floor so that helps reduce the noise. Also, if you are sensitive, the next door neighbor keeps late hours and can be pretty noisy on the other side of the bedroom wall. He comes home around 2200 and is active in his apartment until about 0100.
The electrical situation can be a little challenging. There are not a lot of outlets available. Near the bed, there is only one outlet and it is loose and does not keep a plug in place very well. So you have to get creative and have long charging cords for your devices. Also, it is easy to trip the breaker for the apartment if you are running any appliances with the washer. This happened during our first time using the washer when we also plugged in the kettle. But we were careful afterwards and it did not happen again. This seems like a common issue for other guests, as there are instructions in the apartment manual about how guests can restore the electricity. The manager in the lobby was very helpful to us in getting that fixed, and he made it sound as if this is an issue throughout the building, not just with our apartment.
Some instructions in the apartment manual about washing machine settings, and length of time to run a load, would be really helpful. We tried a different setting with each of our loads but each cycle took more than two hours. We would have been happy with a shorter cycle if we had known what to choose. Unfortunately, googling could not produce a manual for the make and model of the washer.
All in all, theses are quirks that would not keep me from staying here again.

The property was well equipped, a great size and so central! Included lots of tips for Bologna and wasn’t too noisy for being so central
A little difficult at first opening the gate, but once we figured it out it was fine. No other issues!

Great location in a busy street but in a very quiet building. The flat was easy to find and enter thanks to great instructions and a lift. Everything we needed had been provided and we had a quiet, cool stay in this comfortable, central spot.
Check in and check out were straight forward and we felt this was great value for money. Would definitely recommend and would return
