Summary: Immaculate, fresh style awaits you in this spacious, newly remodeled lower-level suite in the heart of Old Colorado City. From the high ceilings to the heated bathroom floors, this 2BR/1BA is your ideal getaway! Steps away from OCC's excellent restaurants, shops, galleries, night life, and seasonal farmer's market in Bancroft Park, there is no better location for all that Colorado Springs has to offer! Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and the fun of downtown are within minutes. The Space: You will have your own private entrance to this spacious, air-conditioned, 1200 sq ft guest suite through the back gate of the main house, where you'll find a cute little passage-way with cafe lights and a private table and two chairs where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee. A beautiful handmade iron handrail guides you downstairs into the generous kitchen with a full-sized stove, fridge, and everything you need for a homemade meal at your fingertips--including a large flat-screen television on the wall with cable. Read a book, watch a movie, or play a game from the comfortable sectional sofa in the cozy living room. The ample recessed lighting keep the space bright and cheerful. In the modern deluxe 3/4 bathroom, you'll find double sinks and a huge, walk-in, tiled shower with luxury shower heads. Radiant floor heating will keep your toes toasty warm on our cool Colorado mornings. Both bedrooms are amazingly comfortable. One has a king bed and one a queen bed, and both are fully stocked with fresh crisp linens and both have private cozy sitting areas. On street parking. Guest Access: You'll enjoy private access to the entire suite. Check in is at 5pm and check out time is by 10am. We do our best to accommodate early check in and/or late check out requests. We offer these based upon our housekeeping team's approval as their schedule can be demanding and for an additional fee of $25 per request if we can accomodate it. Please note, the earliest check in time available is 2pm and the latest checkout time we can accommodate is noon. The Neighborhood: This suite is in Old Colorado City (OCC), one of the greatest neighborhoods in Colorado Springs. OCC is right between Downtown and Manitou Springs, and has a fun and vibrant scene. Garden of the Gods is just a few minutes away by car. Getting Around: Most visitors to Colorado Springs will choose to use a car, but there is a bus route running conveniently up and down Colorado Avenue. Catch the "art bus" if you're here on a "First Friday Art Walk" and experience the fun of stopping at several galleries between downtown and the West End. Other Things to Note: + Sleep in peace on our super soft linens which were laundered in a professional facility to ensure the highest possible amount of viruses and bacteria are utterly destroyed. + We are not 420 friendly. No smoking of any kind inside, please. Outdoor tobacco use is permitted. + We reserve the right to collect ID directly from our guests before allowing access to the property. This is in addition to identification you may be asked to provide to the booking platform. Interaction with Guests: I give my guests their privacy by default but love to help you get the most out of your time in the Pikes Peak Region, so don't be afraid to ask for local advice. We had a super late flight, and we were able to self-check in easily. Plenty of room, stocked well, and located close to everything. If we didn't want to drive anywhere, Old Colorado City was right there. Comfy beds and fans available in each closet. Would stay here again.

This place was perfect for our stay. It is clean, well stocked with the essentials, easy to find, check in, etc. It was close to so many things and we were able to avoid traffic going to all the sights! There was even a farmers market 2 blocks away which was a bonus on Saturday. I highly recommend this property!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful property while visiting the Springs area for a 50th high school reunion - and absolutely loved our visit! This property has been impecably decorated/remodeled and was super clean. The location was fantastic - easy walking to shops and restaurants in Old Colorado City. We loved the amazingly large and modern shower with rainfall showerhead! The property manager takes special care in providing a "home away from home" feel by including little touches like a pouch of ground coffee from a local business, and wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and sights. Wonderful property that was a true highlight of our recent trip!

Loved it.. very clean and had every thing you need. The only complaint was the dead lock. It was very hard to get to lock. You would think it was locked but it wasn’t. Other than the lock… it was perfect!

A hidden gem with all the modern conveniences you want or need in a great location. I've stayed in dozens of vacation rentals over the years and this is the best I've seen in a long time. Pulling up to the house you would never expect what you find inside. You have the full basement to yourself and it has been updated to have everything you would want or need. Nicely decorated with modern appliances and fixtures. The radiant heating in the spa-like bathroom is awesome. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and all the appliances are high end. The location is close to so many amazing local attractions, just a couple of blocks from Old Colorado City and all the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this rental/location and hope to stay here again in the future.

We absolutely loved our visit to Colorado and the house felt like home! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels, and it was very clean. The house was pretty close to everything that we wanted to see. Maybe 15-20 mins. We are already planning our next trip to Colorado and would love to stay here again.

We came to Old Colorado City to do some hiking and relaxing. This property was perfect for our visit. It was clean, we had plenty of room, and it was quiet. With downtown being only a few blocks away, there was no need to get back in the car after a day of sightseeing. There were plenty of options for eating within walking distance from the property. This property was perfect for our family of 4. The location can't be beat as it's walking distance to Old Colorado City and a very short drive to all the major attractions such as Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, etc. The property was so clean and modern and included all the amenities we needed for our 5 night stay. Definitely would stay here again!

This was one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. This downstairs apartments was in some ways nicer than our own home. Spacious living area where our family enjoyed meals together. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower alone was 10/10. Highly recommend.

It was just perfect! The space was so beautifully decorated. We felt very safe and it was very quiet. All the amenities were conveniently there including a bag of coffee beans. We walked to Colorado Ave - a short block up! We would DEFINITELY book this little secret hideaway again on another girls trip! Loved out visit to Old Colorado Springs and Mantiou Springa!

This basement apartment is so inviting and comfortable. Everything is updated and nicely done. We were comfortable and enjoyed the large, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The shower is incredible and feels like a spa! Walkability to many great restaurants and local shopping is a great plus.

The property was extremely clean and one of the most well provisioned houses we have ever stayed in. Some houses will skip providing travel essentials, but not this place. There was soap, napkins, coffee and tea, everything we could want was already there, and everything was where you wanted it to be. It is a basement of a house, but we heard no noise. The location is 10 minutes from Pikes Peak, 10 minutes from Colorado Springs, and minutes walking to several great restaurants and shopping. Wonderful place!
