Superb

The property was perfect for a short stay - we were visiting the nearby Harry Potter Studio tour and Whipsnade zoo.

The parking space was a bit tight. Slight smell of smoke in 1st floor bedroom (windows open on arrival, and I guess a neighbour may have been smoking outside front door below). Otherwise nothing bad to report

excellent modern house in great location

excellent location, 50 yards from the canal and marina, nice pub 20 yards away. leisurely walk along canal towpath into town. Hemel Hempstead was a pleasant surprise, forget the new shopping high street, go beyond that to the old town and the park at the top of the water gardens- brilliant. 15 min walk to get the train into London.

parking by the garage was a bit tight as residents park in a line opposite which makes access a bit awkward- our host did advise of this in advance. It was very hot at night- not a lot the host can do about climate change and there were plenty of fans.

A great house, comfortable beds but could do with a little TLC

the property was in a great location with good transport links into London. The garden was a brilliant addition in the recent hot weather as we sat outside and didn’t once use the living room. The beds were all very comfortable except the bunk beds, I would replace with another single like the others as they are great. it’s a lovely property and we would stay again.

there are a few decorative points, there’s been a leak at some point as the kitchen wall has a large watermark on it, a lick of paint would cover it. the kitchen floor is marked and the whole property would benefit from a deep clean (cobwebs etc) and reviewed by the owner or agent as some things could do with being replaced (the shower trays are rusty and the toilet roll holder broken in the en-suite). Its only these little things that’s stopped me giving this house top mark’s.

Excellent experience

We had a great experience at Wing House . It was clean, comfortable, accessible to everything that suited our needs. The amenities in the house were excellent. I would highly recommend this Accommodation.

Very good

The house is spacious and well equipped. It is a great location, family friendly pub a few minutes away, close to train station for London, close to harry potter World and legoland. Jennifer who looks after the property was very helpful and responds quickly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant

I like that the house is big and includes good facilities for a family holiday.

1. the internet was very slow 2. I paid for the whole facilities in the house including the rooms so the manager of the house send me a message after I checked out in 4 days asking me to pay extra because I used 2 other beds while I was supposed to get the whole house facilities for my stay. 3. the cleaning lady for the house the day we checked out was talking in a very unprofessional way that we were supposed to go out in 10 min like we are in a school while i informed her that I’m taking my stuff, unfortunately, I didn’t like her attitude at all.

We were harassed, intimidated and threatened in an attempt to extort money from us.

There was no breakfast. There was a clear misrepresentation between what you see and book and what the host eventually offers. It appears deliberate attempt to defraud through deliberate misrepresentation. You see a holiday home of 3bedrooms. Which meets your holiday requirement. You make FULL payment NON REFUNDABLE. Upon arrival you are restricted to ONE ROOM. Now, money is demanded for use of other rooms.

Please, just be straightforward with the adverts for Wing House. If one is NOT entitled to the house but just one room, please, state that clearly before payments. Otherwise, the facility is good. But attitude of host UNNECESSARILY VERY POOR.

Lovely weekend stay with family.

Everything. Host really helpful. Lovely and clean. Will stay again. Decor really nice too. Modern and bright.

Noisy in bedroom with double bed on top floor. Maybe check soffets. Not a problem as just changed rooms. All other rooms fine. Just the top one.

Good

The house is large, well proportioned and has everything you could possibly want for cooking and relaxation. Beds all comfortable and clean. Parking always guaranteed outside the front door which is another big bonus in a heavily populated area. Very quiet neighbourhood beside canal and it's a short walk to Sainsbury's

Some spaces felt a small bit neglected in terms of cleaning. Just spaces under beds, couches and cupboards which weren't hoovered and quite dusty. Carpet on stairs and upstairs could do with replacing as also felt a bit grubby but maybe to be expected for a busy rental? We like to walk in socks inside but didn't feel like we could here. Nothing major, and otherwise we couldn't fault cleanliness of bathrooms, bedrooms or kitchen.

Nice and clean, spacious, warm.

Nice , modern . Good location next to the canal and train station. Centre of London only 30mins away and 10 mins to Harry Potter , Warner bros studios.
