About this house rental

Situated in Summerside, this attractive house for $129 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This 2 bedroom bright little house is located across from the Summerside Boardwalk in the downtown area. Within walking distance to shopping, dining, casino and horse races. The home is tastefully furnished and contains a fully stocked kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms (one queen and one double). There is a 60" flat screen TV with a Fire Stick and Wifi. As well as, laundry and parking. Make this cozy home your base while on PEI! Please note: the staircase going up to the bedrooms and bathroom is quite small and narrow, considering the year the house was built, this was a common feature. It may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Also, I want to add that because of the age of this sweet little house, it's not uncommon to find an even floor, or the odd crack in the plaster. Many of my guests have appreciated the old characteristic and charm this house provides - but best of all, is the location. Also, since 2022 is our first year back since before the pandemic, this year we are beatifying the place with a new roof, windows, siding, and gutters. A whole new make-over on the outside. We don't know the dates yet that the contractor will be doing this, however, please note: if you are on your vacation when the contractor is working, I am willing to give you a 40% discount on your stay.

The location of this property is just perfect for a summer vacation by the beach. It’s mid island location makes this spot great if you plan to tour the islands like we did. This warm beach inspired older home had so many extras for the comfort of your stay that were added.

The front porch was rotting, upstairs (only) bathroom had a whole in the floor. Kitchen poorly equipped. Upon arrival trash bin outside was full with swarms of flies. The stairs to the bedrooms and bath are extremely hazardous with no railing on second floor. Furniture very old and uncomfortable. We have used VBRO numerous times and been very pleased, this is the first time we have experience such disappointment with a property.

We spent a week in PEI and used this house as our home base. Great location - just one block from the beach. Everything you need in the kitchen and we just used it for making breakfast before we headed out for the day. Really enjoyed the ice cream shop 2 blocks away - Holmans! We also liked having a washer and dryer to do laundry before we left for the next leg of our trip. Laundry soap was provided - so very nice we didn’t have to buy any or bring it with us. It was so very hot and humid when we were there so we appreciated the AC in the house! LeeAnn was great to deal with and quick to respond to my questions. Would recommend this great little house for your next stay!

We were very impressed with the renovations done to a very old house. The location and proximity to the beach and boardwalk were a real plus. We could not have had a better week The only thing we wanted to suggest was that the lock and doorknob to the front door be changed. We had a very difficult time unlocking the front door.

Absolutely loved the property. Was so quaint and Cozy and spotless upon our arrival. It's in a perfect location to tour the island our to just walk around the pretty harbour and town of Summerside. The owners left a list of spots for us to try while we were there. Highly recommend staying here. thanks so much!

We rented this cute little home for two weeks while exploring the Maritimes. It was very comfortable, very clean and well appointed. It is situated steps from the boardwalk in Summerside. Enjoyed walking on the boardwalk everyday and especially going to Samuels for coffee. They have the best capacinnos. Buy your lobster from Arsenault's a bit farther on, and fish and chips from "Skips". Could have spent the entire summer there. LeeAnn was great at recommendations.. loved exploring the island. Great potters and artists. Enjoy a Ceilidh, or two. Can't wait to go back.

Leeann's property was perfect for our needs. I only wish we had been there in the warmer weather to better enjoy the back deck and yard. I enjoyed being central in summerside and having water right outside the door. The place was clean and Leeann was very welcoming. The property was as listed. Only note, and it may already be there somewhere, is that this may not be the best rental for taller (>6') people given the slanted roof on the upper floor. Enjoyable stay, beautiful island!

We enjoyed staying at this property so much. An old house that has been updated and beautifully decorated. It is very comfortable. Very clean and well maintained and just as described. LeeAnn provided everything we could need. So many thoughtful little details, including soft music playing and A/C on when we arrived. There is a nice little deck in the back with table and chairs and a little front porch to sit on. The water is just across the intersection at the end of the road (1 house down) and can be seen from the porch and front windows. It is convenient to walk to the boardwalk and downtown. Summerside is a very nice seaside town, not too big or busy. The College of Piping is in Summerside and they have an excellent show, music and dancing.

This is an older home with many of the quirks of its generation. The steep, narrow staircase to the upper floor with bedrooms and bath presents significant challenges to anyone with mobility issues or young children. The location is fanastic - just steps from the harbourfront boardwalk and beach. The 6.5 km trail is very well maintained, scenic, and hosts lots of interesting birds and small wildlife. Highly recommended for walkers, runners and cyclists!
