Located in North Beach, this attractive house for $220 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Lovely place to build a memorable experience. It is where you want it to be! Calvert Co. Is surrounded on East side by the Chesapeake Bay and on the West by the Patuxent River. Charming 1947 cottage, the integrity of the property has been preserved for you to enjoy. A wrap around front porch greets all who visit and then you will enjoy the original moldings, high ceilings, french doors and the charm this cottage offers. Enjoy and entertain in the newly remodeled kitchen with raised ceiling, new Nantucket cabinets and granite counters. A walk in pantry/laundry adjoins the kitchen. And a rear deck is perfect for your gatherings or just to enjoy a good book. A spacious living room area, desk alcove and main level bedroom and full bath complete the main level. The upper level has a master bedroom, twin sized bedroom and full bath. PLEASE NOTE: VRBO DOES NOT COLLECET THE CALVERT CO. AND TOWN OF NORTH BEACH TAX OF 5%. We enjoyed our time at the cottage for its proximity to safe and lovely walking areas. The facilities worked well for us though the stairs called for extra caution because they are older and not very deep. The last step before the landing is difficult to see. The several reading areas were absolutely charming!

Our stay here was great! The house is so neat. The front porch is great for relaxing. The two couches in the living room are very comfortable for naps. There are tons of extra blankets and all the beds are comfortable. The downstairs tub is nice and deep. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and glasses and all. The property owner was very sweet. I contacted her to let her know that we would be arriving on the red eye and she asked that we let her know when we arrived so she would know we were safe. The property is close to a pond with huge Koi fish, walking distance to North Beach, and a really good coffee shop and fun antique store. Definitely would recommend this property. It has a small community feel but also close enough to town that you can Instacart or Doordash from plenty of stores.

The cottage was clean and I liked the location/neighborhood.
The kitchen was above average and well-equipped. The backyard was - to me - a pleasant surprise. The overall space was larger than I was anticipating
Things that could have been better: Replacing the many light bulbs that were out. The TV is...just being honest...absolutely absurd for the year 2023. Any prospective renter who wants to watch sports or any kind of show in which picture quality is of even the smallest importance should be aware, this place is probably not for you.

Great location for enjoying North Beach. Could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The house is charming but could use some maintenance (peeling paint, etc) and the A/C is pretty uneven. The kitchen is stocked, but you may need to bring items if you like to cook (there was only one mixing bowl, for example). The host was very slow to respond to questions and I gave up after taking over a week to get answers to two basic ones. It does not have a grill, though there is one pictured. The sound on the small TV is terrible, so it was difficult to try and watch DVDs we brought. Overall, it was fine for a weekend.

Very good location and we loved the front porch. We didn't like the ants, some spray would be helpful. The steps are very steep and the upstairs landing is small. A larger TV would be nice too.

Great place. Love NorthBeach. My son and his family live nearby making it convenient when we visit. It is a great vibe. The house is less than 5 mins from the beginning of boardwalk.The house was spacious ,clean and comfortable. Beautiful decor but not fancy just cozy

We had a great time at Norma's cottage. Charming, comfortable house with plenty of room for our family of four and even a fenced in backyard for our dog. Easy walk to the boardwalk, beach, and great restaurants. Great front porch for a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Very friendly neighborhood. Easy drive from DC area. Would return :)

The house was very nice & comfortable, could not have been happier. the beds were very comfortable, the house was very clean and well equipped with anything needed for living and beach. Deck/porch very enjoyable for relaxing. We met Norma when she dropped off some nice snacks for us. If ever in the are again, would stay here! Thank you NORMA, very lovely place.

We returned to Md. to bury my dad. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we needed to find a place to stay for the week. This house was perfect! After the services, we had a little over an hour before the graveside services and the house was just a block from the church, so we all had time to gather and talk. It worked out perfectly!

House was as listed. Loved the wrap around front porch and spent most of my time out there. Only a few blocks away from the beach, but did have to lug our stuff there which was a bit annoying. Realized on the last day that the owner provides a cart to make it easier:). The owner really did think of everything from Beach chairs to a legit beachy decor to get us in the mood. All in all was a great stay. My only complaints are that the bathroom doors did not lock and front door was also tricky to lock. There was also an ant problem, mostly in the kitchen but also throughout the house. Owner was also not the easiest to reach via email but to be fair she did leave her phone number which I never tried to call.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute little house with a beautiful front porch close by the beach on Chesapeake Bay . My wife and I stayed a few nights in early March, pretty cold weather most of the time, but the furnace did its job and kept us warm. The boardwalk is very nice, and the cottage is, too. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of silverware and dishes. And the hostess, Norma, is local, so we had a chance to get acquainted.

First of all, Norma is a wonderful hostess! Communication with her is fast and easy- we spoke both thru messages and by telephone. Her Beachwalk Cottage is spacious, comfortable and has everything my family and I needed for a pleasant week's vacation.The fenced in back yard provided my 2 small dogs with a safe place to play, and being able to bring them with us made our vacation complete. Walkability to the beach,shops and restaurants is minimal, our vehicle was parked most of the week! I would absolutely recommend Beachwalk Cottage to anyone considering a stay in Chesapeake Beach- you will not be disappointed!

We stayed here to be near the kids sailing camp and enjoyed 4th July fireworks at Herrington with minimal fuss. Very laidback— the local farmers market is great source for local veg and Vaughan’s attisanal cheese; local coop Chesapeake. Bounty excellent source for crabs and oysters. The house was clean spacious and handily located.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this rental property. It’s a Beautiful cottage!! The house is less than a ten minute walk to the beach. The house had a season pass for the beach which was a plus. I had to call to get the lock code because it was never emailed but she answered quickly and we were able to get inside promptly. The house is beautifully maintained. Back yard was great having a fenced in area to bring our dog. Grass was long upon arrival but within an hour of letting the Realator know she had someone over cutting the grass! They were in catch up mode due to lots of rain the week prior so not anyone’s fault. We could have used some more pots and pans but there were plenty of towels and even a beach wagon that was super useful! There was some confusion about check out time as the Vrbo booking clearly stated check out time was 11 am then I got a text from the realtor right before 10 saying check out was at 10 am and the cleaning people would be there promptly. I did message back saying I’m sorry we were going by the info on our booking confirmation and we did try to get out as quickly as possible but we wish there was a little more communication there. Other rentals I’ve done usually have a book with check in/check out info and guidelines. This rental did have a folder with the WiFi info and local restaurants but I think something like that could be super useful to avoid any confusion. All in all a great rental for a quick getaway and we truly enjoyed our time at the cottage
