About this house rental
Located in Lake Anna, this attractive house for $339 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Soulmate Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' In accordance with current local rules, the max occupancy for this home has only been adjusted to nine persons for reservations through April 23rd. Reservations made after this period will allow the maximum occupancy of 12 persons for this home. This house has it all and will make your vacation very memorable and stress-free and has recently been refreshed inside and out. There are new patios for viewing and enjoying the lake and there is an outdoor firepit overlooking the water as well - an excellent location for s’mores. The covered outdoor patio has plenty of room for relaxing and a large table for gathering around and enjoying a great dinner. There is a ping pong table as well. Inside there is a bar to sit and enjoy time together on your vacation. There are also many levels on this property to relax and enjoy the great views of the lake. The dock has a swing open gate for jumping and diving - don’t worry, it’s plenty deep. The views are breathtaking, as it is on the best part of the lake and sunsets are just out from the dock. The home is also just a short two-mile drive to the main grocery store. It's a close boat ride or car ride to all restaurants and shopping. THINGS TO KNOW Harmful algae bloom may be impacting the lake in this area. Please contact Vacasa for more info. Fishing will require a Virginia Fishing License. Drivers of motorized watercraft must have a Virginia Boater Safety License. Covered slips are not available for guest use; guests can tie to the side of the dock. The fireplace is not available for guest use. The living room sofa bed and downstairs sofa bed provide extra sleeping space. Smart TVs with Roku and Starlink internet provide entertainment options. Streaming TV services require guest accounts to access. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

I could not BELIEVE the amount of property we got at this price. The views were beautiful, the decks were all divine, the kitchen was nice and big. Also, all of the switches and thermostats were labeled - there was NO guesswork as to what controlled what. VERY wonderful stay. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Overall it is a very nice house and we had a good trip, however it needs some updating, The most problematic was the water pressure, on 3 different occasions the water actually shut off while taking a shower, the WIFI strength was very poor and could not load netflix movies. The cushions both under house and down on the dock are in dire need of replacement, the lights at the dock would not come on or we never found the correct switch. For the number of TV's only a few would actually function properly. Downstairs shower hardware needs replaced, handle was busted and head didn't stay in place. Check in / Check out was simple and no issues.

It encouraged us to enjoy nature and each other's company. The internet was the only disappointing issue. We never really had access to the internet. It was not a big deal to me only to my children. I was happy just enjoying their company. We did call in the internet issue and the kitchen sink issue. Maintenance did come quickly and attempted to fix the sink but I did notice before we left the sink was still leaking. The tech also reset the router but as mentioned above, my kids were never able to get the internet to work. I apologize, I did not even try. I was happy not being a slave to it. Again we had a wonderful time. We loved there were many areas to enjoy each other and many areas where you could get away and enjoy the outdoors in your own way, on a swing, by the fire pit, down by the water. It was perfect!! Not only were the outdoor areas much better than expected, the entire property is amazing. The house is very nice, with a well-stocked kitchen. We had two great nights by the outside campfire area and greatly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this property.

this property looks like it was very nice once. The inside was clean except for the master bed. There was dog hair and stains all over the bed cover.
The outdoor areas need some TLC. The grass and weeds are taking over and the furniture could also use some TLC. I'd rather have no cushions than old moldy ones.
they say tiki bar, but it is in disrepair
there are tons of light switches but few are marked and i could find none that actually lite up the lower dock ( maybe all the bulbs are out?)

We rented this house so we would be closer to the wedding venue where our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding was being held in Louisa. The house was well stocked and clean. There was plenty of room for four children and eight adults. The weather was perfect and the wedding was beautiful. Unfortunately when I was making the reservation for the house I did not reserve extra days. We were so busy between rehearsal dinner and the wedding that we really did not have much time to explore the dock or deck areas at all.
I would suggest also to remove the loose rug under the dining table or at least put something under it so it does not trip anyone.
Two of the bedrooms are down some steep stairs so I would not recommend sleeping down there if you are older and stairs are a challenge. I would also recommend that the owners have the sleep sofa repaired or replaced that is downstairs as it can not be used as it is now and limits the amount of sleeping space available. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor for my two older grandsons to sleep on. They are aged five and nine.
It really is a very nice house and I would recommend this location.

Great lake experience
The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We spent a majority of our days on the dock jumping from the deck swimming and kayaking. The fire pit was a nice way to end the day. Would give it 5 stars but some amenities and landscaping could use attention, but the dock is well worth the stay.

Soulmate is a comfortable home with a wonderful basement, outdoor spaces & dock/swim area. The property needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Vacasa did not answer a basic question about mattress sizes on the pull out sofas so we could bring sheets prior to arrival. That was frustrating.
