Nestled in Gatlinburg, this lovely chalet for $342 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Escape to the Smoky Mountains at Touchdown's Treetop Chalet! This luxury three king suite / three and a half bath chalet is perfect for couples and families. Offering tremendous views of the Great Smoky Mountains, Touchdown's Treetop Chalet is only minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, downtown Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This magnificent chalet features a large game room with a pool table, HD TV, wet bar, and stand up arcade game (Miss Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Galaga, and many more!) Guests will also enjoy sitting amongst the treetops in the 6-person hot tub on the large back porch. Because of the spacious design, each King Suite offers privacy and comfort. Every suite has a full bathroom, television, DVD player, and king bed. One of the suites even has a gas fire place and private balcony overlooking the Smoky Mountains! A large sunken living room with a gas fire place and 65in Sony 4K UHD TV and Blu-ray player is the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing, hiking, or white water rafting. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room allow for dining in, and the charcoal grill is great if you'd like to grill out. Laundry facilities are just downstairs in a spacious laundry room equipped with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board. All Touchdown's Treetop Chalet guests are eligible to enjoy the privileges of Chalet Village Owner's Club which includes the use of all 3 convenient Chalet Village Clubhouses with pools, baby pools, pool tables, and tennis courts, complete with snack bars to enjoy a full day of fun. We brought our kids up for a quick trip. They had never been to this area. The house was wonderful - the exact space we needed. We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub. Views were amazing! The drive up to the house is a little more than we were expecting but worth it once we got to the top. The house was very well appointed with all of the necessities. Enjoyed our stay

HOUSE WAS GREAT, NOT WELL KEPT NEEDS LOTS OF REPAIRS, NOT CLEAN WELL BUT VIEW IS FANTASTIC. KITCHEN IS SMALL ONLY TWEO PEOPLE CAN FIT IN THERE. BEDROOMS ARE GOOD, BATHS ARE GOOD AND BEAR WATCHING IN OCTOBER IS FANTASTIC.

Highly recommend staying at this house. It was perfect and very clean. It had great views, especially from the hot tub when the sun was setting. We also loved the game room! Beds were very comfortable as well. Michael the host was easy to talk with as well. The drive up was a bit of a challenge at night, because of the roads, but that is not the hosts fault at all. Again, highly recommend booking!

The location is high on the mountain with a nice view. When it’s clear you can see for miles. It’s perfect for a stay with friends. We had a night just staying because there were games and the hot tub is perfect for cold nights. Michael, the host, was very friendly. Quick to respond and offered suggestions on places to eat, etc. This is on my list of places to stay next time we come back.

We loved our stay. It was a beautiful, well stocked house. We loved the daily visits by black bears but please remember to roll up your car windows. We had a bear climb into our Jeep thru the driver side window and leave a couple nail holes in the door. We learned our lesson. Lol.

This chalet has a great layout for anyone with mobility issues. We had to navigate a few steps to enter the house, and steps lead to the lower level bedroom. Two bedrooms are located on the first floor. All 3 bedrooms have king beds and full bathrooms. It is perfect for 6 girlfriends. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, pots, pans, bowls, glasses and mugs. We didn’t spend any time in the game room, but it does contain a 1/2 bath. We spent a lot of time drinking wine and playing games at the table on the back patio overlooking the mountains. It is quite an adventure to drive up the mountain to the property, but we had no problems. Parking is available in front of the chalet. Also, be prepared to see bears in the mornings and at dusk! (BE SURE TO LOCK YOUR CARS, AND DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD IN THEM!) I gave the overall rating a 4 only because the chalet could really use updating. The interior is pretty “tired.” Fresh coats of paint and new great room furniture would really help. The beds were very comfortable, though. Michael was a great host and a joy to work with.

Wonderful views of the mountains. Loved the layout of the home- game room had everything and more. Three king suites with personal baths. We met the local bear families, Wild Turkeys and other furry friends. Not far to downtown or Pigeon Forge. This place does not disappoint. Thank you for being such an awesome host.

This is a beautiful chalet. Very cozy and beautiful. We enjoyed it immensely. Loved the location and view. Owner was very friendly and easy to talk to. We had no problems at all. Very good vacation.

We visit Gatlinburg almost every year. We typically stay in the Cobly Nob area. We had never stayed in this particular area. We have stayed in dozens of different Chalets over the years. This particular location ranks #2 on our list of favorite "Chalets". The #1 on our list is unfortunately no longer available for rent.
We really liked the convience of getting down into Gatlinburg very quickly.
This location has a very nice view - it is literally at the top of a mountain.
The layout of this place is perfect for 2-3 couples. Each bedroom suite has an on-suite bathroom. The layout provides privacy for each bedroom. Speaking of the bedrooms - we only ised one bed, but it was EXTREMELY comfortable!
The gamebroom is perfect, and has a nice bar area, along with a small restroom. It has darts, a nice pool table, and a mulicade arcade game. There is something for everyone in this room.
The upstairs deck is very nice, with plenty of room, seating, and of course the wonderful hottub.
We really liked the open layout of the kitchen and living room area. The sitting area is sunken - which is a cool feature. There is a large screen tv, plenty of seating (all of which are high quality furniture).
This place was the best stocked rental we have ever encountered. There is every type of cookware, dishes, etc - all the way down to bottle openers, corkscrews, cups, mugs, shot glasses, bourbon glasses, etc. There was even a Kitchen Aid mixer!

Location and view were beautiful. Wouldn't change a thing. House had everything we needed for our stay. Saw several bears during our stay. Loved it!! Beds were comfortable and the pillows were high quality. Very quiet location on culdesac. Been awhile since I've driven in the mountains. Took a few trips to town to get used to it again.

The cabin is beautiful, well stocked and clean! Plenty of towels and supplies. Fully stocked kitchen and some. Probably the best I’ve ever stayed in. There was even a KitchenAid mixer! The view was beautiful but not of the downtown area so if that’s what you are looking for, this is not it. The hot tub overlooked the beautiful landscape and was perfect. We didn’t use the downstairs area or the laundry area, stuck to upstairs mostly. We are a family of 5 and the kids all slept together in the king room. There was even a pack in play!! A few updates would make this place a 10/10 but I’ll give it a 9.5/10 because it was very nice. Would highly recommend and may even stay there again!! Not sure when we will find ourselves in Gatlinburg again but would stay here for sure. Easy to find as well!!! It’s on a quiet dead end road so no traffic either.

The views off the huge patio were beautiful, beds were comfortable. There is also a separate suite downstairs perfect for a guest that wants to be private with the group. Had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the home and our stay.

We had an amazing time at the Chalet Village. The property was super clean, with a fully stocked kitchen utensils and tools. Very spacious and super well organized. Also they had a jacuzzi ready to use (we didn't use it because it was freezing outside). Check-in process was super easy and communication with property manager regarding questions or concerns was super easy. We are definitely coming back to spend more time at this property due to the amazing and relaxed time we had. I highly recommend it!!

Stay was amazing. Property was not hard to find just the roads to get there are pretty steep at times. We saw a ton of bears along the way. Had a bear come walk around the driveway our first night there. Well stocked with things you need. Hot tub was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The chalet was absolutely amazing and the game room was a huge plus. Each bedroom having an on suite bathroom it made getting ready easy and convenient. Even the drive wasn't as bad as some other locations we have previously stayed in. I would definately stay again and next time for longer.

We had a great stay at Treetops! The property worked very well for three couples. Property does need updating - looking a little tired and worn. Very good communication with property manager. While eating at the table during breakfast and supper we saw many bears walk by! We would stay again.

We loved relaxing on the deck and watching some bears walk by the front yard. Our teens loved the pool table, hot tub and arcade machine. The drive up was steep, so we only went up and down once a day. The house can use some TLC, but it was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week! The owner was wonderful when we had questions. Based on other reviews, I expected the road to be curvy but didn't expect such steep hills. We didn't have any problems, just made me very anxious. We saw lots of bears. LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS! We forgot once and found our car door opened when we looked out because a car alarm was going off at another house and we heard them banging pots and pans together.
