This place fully deserves its five stars. It is a very peaceful setting and we enjoyed taking the kayaks and canoes out to play in the river with the birds and otters. The house was clean, Bring your own shampoo, but otherwise all the expected amenities were there and everything was in working order. We didn't fish, but they were sure jumping right out in front and could be seen from the kayaks. The yard is very well manicured, and we appreciated the festival of jays, ducks, and squirrels at the feeders.

This was exactly the right spot for our stay. Although I didn’t have much time to enjoy all of the property’s amenities, everything was well kept and it’s a beautiful, relaxing waterfront location right on the river.The hosts were very responsive, even with our late check-in and a few after-hours questions—they got back to us quickly every time. The cabin itself was fun and enjoyable, with a nice tucked-away feel that made it a great place to stay.We would definitely choose this property again when we return to the area, if it’s available.
